Hello Strava Team,

I wanted to share a feature idea that I believe could significantly improve the user experience and strengthen the global community on Strava.

Since Strava is used worldwide, athletes are constantly interacting with people from different countries and language backgrounds. However, language barriers can limit engagement—especially when it comes to comments, activity descriptions, and profiles.

Proposed Feature:

An in-app translation option that allows users to easily translate content into their native language with a simple button (similar to “Translate” features seen on other social platforms).

Why This Matters:

  • Encourages more interaction between users globally
  • Makes comments and activity posts more accessible
  • Helps build a more connected, inclusive, and supportive community
  • Increases engagement across regions and languages

This feature would align perfectly with Strava’s mission of connecting athletes around the world, making those connections more meaningful and accessible regardless of language.

Thank you for your time and for continuing to improve the platform. I’d love to see something like this implemented in the future.
