Logged Out on iOS? Here’s How to Get Back In
The newest route creation change seems backwards. The draw and route tool often appears in a different location than my finger on the screen, and I still can't toggle to manual mode like on the PC tool.The worse change though, is when I'm mapping normally and there's a tagged location, like a restaurant or landmark, I can't just click and keep routing. The tool opens the fly away tab to tell me about the location and I have to click add to route, and hope it's on the path I wanted to travel. If I click on a part of my route that I've already been, I have to choose add point or end here each time. The tool is more cumbersome to use than in the past, and I make routes 4-5 times a week. Is there an easier way? Any chance for an update on the routes again?
Since the latest app update the ‘create route’ section is unusable for me. I select the start point near my house and select the the next point about 100yds away and the map automatically moves my start point somewhere else that isn’t a public road and creates a route that isn’t correct. This happens all the time now and wasn’t an issue before. Is anyone else having this problem? [screenshots provided]
Hello,I completed a bike ride of 100.1 km, and when I finished the route, I shortened it by 0.1 km. But when the route updated, it now only shows 55.97 km. I lost half of my ride and I can’t manage to recover it. What should I do? Could we restore the original route? Is this an option available in the paid version?Thank you.Eric.
I have had a ride unduely flagged almost a week ago and despite my ticket contesting it, nothing is happening. Is there an explanation for this ? My ride includes my best performances on a high trafic segment for which I am now the KOM. I was very happy to manage to beat it three times that day until Strava (or a salty user) flagged it. Mistaking it for a motor vehicle is one thing I can somewhat understand but not leaving users, paying customers and platform contributors without answers.If this is an automatic flag, customer support should treat it in priority, especially for premium users keeping the platform alive.
Hi.But of a noob so bear with me.I’ve had a Runna Premium plan for a moth or following a training plan and have just linked it to my Strava account. Is there anyway I can have Strava import some of these older runs - I want the kudos!
I am trying to add a URL that can be clicked/tapped to my bio. The URL link will show in the bio, but it doesn't show as a hyperlink that can be tapped. I'm confused because Strava has said that links are supported again, but I've tried multiple ways and nothing works. Any help here? Thanks.

I’ve been using the api/v3/activities/{id}/streams?keys=time,watts in a web application for roughly 3 years with no problems. This last week, suddenly, the exact same API call seems to be returning data with gaps: not starting with the same timestamp as the .fit file (ie, missing the first 200 or so values) and skipping one or two seconds of power data throughout the stream (ie, like Swiss cheese, full of holes)Is this my problem or Strava??

Hello! We made a run club for our running community, but for weeks now it hasn’t let us post into the group. This has been going on since we created the group. Other members have been able to post fine, but every post we try (no matter how it is formatted, what device, what browser, with/without cache, and so on) every time we try to post it says ‘Something went wrong’.We raised a ticket with support a month ago but just keep getting told they are working through a backlog. When running interval workouts (12 × 400 m), Strava continues to display my previous “best effort” of 1:35 even though I recorded faster 400 m splits during the activity. It fails to update the “best effort” to reflect my latest and fastest 400 m run, which was 1:25 on lap 12.Steps to Reproduce Complete a run with interval workouts (e.g. 12 × 400 m). HiI'm building a system for myself and a group of users. I'm trying to get the info from Strava and send it to Health Connect (Google) and HealthKit (Apple Health), lets call them HealthApps refering to both of them. All activities are Public. But I'm having some problems: 1. Rouvy and many others didn't send data to Health Connect. So I plan to send example from Rouvy to Strava, then from Strava to Google Fit, then Google Fit to Health Connect. But from Strava it breaks and didn't get sended to Google Fit (which is active as "Other Services").First I suspect it was because it was created by a 3th party app. Then I create an activity direcrly from Strava and again it never gets to Google Fit.As a proof other direct activities from Garmin went out to Google Health and to Google Fit correct. I appreciate that this has been reported numerous times over the past few years. The answer for the past 2 years has always been “We have passed this onto the relevant developers”. But looking at the “KNOWN ISSUES” there is nothing I can find when searching for “Google” or “Google Fit”.Issue 1I can confirm that the bug is still exactly as earlier reported. Activities do not sync with Google Fit until you edit them and then they do sync. Can you clarify whether there is still an open issue for this? One app I developed has been approved and is currently live. I now wish to develop another app. In doing so, would it be possible to request an additional client ID? I recently needed to create a second strava api application because I need API access on two different subdomains, but it's incredibly limited with the Number of athletes allowed to connect being capped at 1. As far as I can tell, nowhere on the 'My API Application' page is there a link to apply for actual API access, which is incredibly frustrating from a developer experience standpoint. Still, I filled out the Strava’s Developer Program form that I received in my email. This was almost a month ago, and I haven't received a response of any kind yet. If I've been denied, that's again frustrating from a DX standpoint--I'm only looking to use a different subdomain on an app that's already been verified. It's also obviously pretty disrespectful to not have an email sent letting me know that I've been denied. In general, information about this stuff seems hard to come by, and I don't think it should be that way.
I've seen that you're unable to have multiple sub-domains authorized for a callback URL on the application, but what about for testing locally?I'd love to test version my application on localhost but unfortunately it looks like I have to have an entirely separate application for it and wondering if that is anyway by-passable for local testing. For the last couple of weeks, while on a ride, upon finishing a segment the results of that segment will remain on screen long after the segment ends. They remain even if additional segments are attempted.i will take a picture next time this happens but its annoying.
My ride on 11th November 2020 has been flagged as not legitimate, including a few KOMs I believe that I was very proud of. I saw on a ride today revisiting these roads that the efforts were excluded, I'll be looking into more of my rides to see if this problem has occured more often. As a keen Strava cyclist and KOM fiend I've always been careful to crop anything if it gets left running. As you may understand, us racers can go out on a chilled ride and sprint up those hills with a tailwind to bring home the KOM to make our lives feel worthwhile for a short moment ;D . I hope you can help me out as a long term Strava devotee haha, thank you
When recording an activity on my Google Pixel Watch 3 like a walk, my activities sync just fine. If I record a “Mountain Bike Ride”, then it will not sync. I have to manually download and upload the file. Is there a reason that an MTB Ride won’t sync, but a “Bike Ride” or a “Walk” will? My understanding was that if it has GPS data with it then it should sync.
When looking at my profile and the “My Stats” section it is only showing I have done total of 45 runs 0miles and this year 15 runs 0 miles.This is completely incorrect I know I have done 353 runs, for 1,187.6 MilesHow is it that these stats are now showing as total Garbage. I’ve been noticing some inconsistencies with the transparent share feature on Strava, even when using GPS.I always record my runs using a Garmin watch, so all my activities have GPS data. But here’s what’s confusing:• Sometimes, the transparent share option shows my route with the shoe icon (looks really nice).• Other times, it only shows the route without the shoe icon, even though the run is recorded the same way.• All these activities have GPS data, and I don’t manually edit them. Why does this happen? Is it linked to the activity type, GPS details, or something else? How can I make sure the shoe icon option always appears when sharing transparently?

I had a webhook that was working for a few years and stopped working on April 12. I thought perhaps deleting and resubscribing might do something. I was able to delete the old subscription. If I try to subscribe using the same process that has worked in the past, I get a "not verifiable" response back. The strange thing is that my server logs don't show any traffic from the Strava server, so it seems like Strava can't contact my server.Anyone have any ideas?
