Unanswered questions

Is there a way I can have all my Zwift rides uploaded to my Strava but not be published? I want to continue having my real world rides published but not Zwift. Obviously I can quickly choose to make it “Only Me” to see afterwards but I would rather not have to do that every time.One thought I had was making all work outs private until I hit “Everyone” for viewing but I don’t want all my previous real world rides to be hidden. Any help would be great. Thank you!

Hi. I’ve been a subscriber since 2020 and have over a hundred maps saved for my cycling. Recently what’s happening is that when I chose a saved map and press ‘Start’ the map expands to full screen and shows my location (with the blue dot) but the orange route line will not show. If I hide the zoomed-in ‘centred’ view and go back to the map the orange line shows but as soon as I go back to the ‘zoomed-in’ view it disappears again. I have tried deleting the app and re-installing but I’ve still got the same issue. So at the moment I can’t use any of my carefully planned routes - very frustrating.I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro and have the latest IOS 18.6 running (it wasn’t working on the previous IOS version either)Any ideas?

Hi everyone, I recently upgraded from an Apple Watch Series 7 to a Series 11 and since then I’ve been having issues with how my workouts appear in Strava. When I record workouts in the Apple Workout app, they sync to Strava via Apple Health but the source always shows as “Apple Health” instead of “Apple Watch Series 11”In the Strava app on my iPhone, under Settings → Manage apps and devices, I constantly see the message “Accept permissions for Apple Watch” — even though I’ve already granted all permissions. What I’ve tried so far:Reinstalled Strava on both my iPhone and Apple Watch Restarted both devices Revoked and re-granted all Apple Health permissions (Workouts, Heart Rate, etc.) Checked Motion & Fitness permissions are enabled Reconnected Strava to Health multiple times Despite all this, the message still appears and Strava is not recognising my Series 11 correctly. Has anyone else experienced this with a newer Apple Watch model? When editing an activity from the listing (https://www.strava.com/athlete/training), ticking the checkbox “Commute” does not work.Furthermore, this works from the android app, but taking the same activity from the web and saving it again removes the tag

My map updated and now everything that isn’t a road or path is now the same green color, including water. This makes it so hard to orient yourself and find good routes when traveling. Additionally, the map is now so visually overwhelming and overstimulating. Along with this new update, when you click on satellite it just stays on this green color scheme. Is there any way to reverse this update?? Any way to change the map at all?? 

I have a Stryd power pod and use it for all my runs.   Strava used to show my average power but several weeks ago it replaced power with calories.  How can I get my power numbers back?

I’m encountering an issue with the paging parameter at the endpoint for listing club activities.I am currently running a sports challenge that uses Strava clubs to track participants' activities. To limit the activities, I retrieve all activities using the after parameter. Today, I had more than 200 activities. When I requested the activities using the page parameter set to 2, I always received the same result. It doesn’t matter if I send page=2, page=3, or another value—I always get the same data. Why?Thanks!

My workout app on my watch records the workout and used to feed the data into Strava. Previous activities have loaded without any issues, but lately its not updating or updates a day later.  I have logged out, reset my phone, confirmed the pairing on my watch but nothing works.  Please assist

Yoga from Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 not updated in Strava!

Over the past 3 weeks I've had 3 or 4 instances of the overall time of the run being incorrect. Distance measurement seems to be fine but, as seen in the screenshot below, the last two kms of this run made me appear like a world-class athlete (definitely not the case).I'm wondering whether this issue is to do with the strava recording or may be something to do with my phone's (Samsung S21) GPS being inaccurate. Some runs the result seems to be okay but these incorrect ones are annoying as they affect my data.Has anyone had a similar issue?  

Your activity will not have heart rate dataLooks like you still need to allow Strava to process heart rate data. Please do this in the Data Permissions section of Strava settings before you upload your next activity.how to fix it is from coros pace 3 to strava

Hey everyone,My ride got auto-flagged with the message: "Your GPS might have been acting up today..." I've already submitted a support request.Just to clarify, my activity data is totally normal — no speed drifting or GPS issues, and it's backed by full power and heart rate data.I also checked on the website, but I can't find the "refuse flag" button that some people mention. Has that option been removed, or is it just not available for my case?For those who've been in the same boat recently, how long did it take for support to review and fix your activity?Thanks a bunch!

Posting here rather than on the Strava Club post hoping Strava staff will see it. Checking out “New! Adventure at your fingertips – literally” email about the Mobile Route Builder and found a bit of weirdness while trying to set a test route in an area I had a problem with on another platform.  I’ve saved the route if anyone in the support team wants to check it out.  I’m in Mountain Bike Ride mode, I would like to be able to move a route off of singletrack and onto a parallel driveway ( the singletrack isn’t anything special and one end of it is garbage so it’s easier to just use the driveway ).  The problem is you can’t move the point to the driveway.  It keeps bouncing back to the singletrack.  If I try to draw the line by hand it errors with ‘Route could not update.  Try again later.’  Ideally it would follow the green highlight shown below.  The gps coordinates are  39.332827, -76.870197 if you want to see it for yourself.  Maybe I’m doing it wrong?   

Sometimes, on longer rides, with many segments, there is a list of hidden efforts.  Sometimes when I have gotten top ten overall they will appear in the hidden efforts but also not in the top results. Sometimes I don’t bother checking this list.  But I always want to know when I get a new top ten overall.  Is this a random result?  Or is there something that can be done to change this?

I just noticed that my max heart rate was automatically changed in the app (not by me), and it caused some weird data issues: All my past activities have been updated with new heart rate zones, which are now incorrect based on this new HR max. However, the effort data (Relative Effort, etc.) remained unchanged for those older activities, so they don’t match the new HR zones anymore. For my latest activity (after the HR max change), both the HR zones and the effort score are wrong, since they were calculated using the incorrect HR max. I’ve already updated my max heart rate to the correct value manually, and even tried recalculating performance data, but nothing changed — the past activities still show the wrong HR zones, and the effort score on my latest activity is still off.Can you help me revert this change or reprocess my activities using my correct HR max value? I'd really like my data to reflect the original, accurate information.Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

I have tried to report and resolve a flag on my 50k run Sep. 28 and no one has gotten back to me. I tried submitting a follow up ticket and they keep getting marked as resolved. I also deleted the activity and reuploaded it but it’s still flagged and doesn’t give me the option to remove it. Can someone please just remove it? Why is customer service so abysmal for Strava?

I'm sensitive to screen motions and I dislike the recent app update for 2 things in particular. First, when I hit record (which is now bizarrely a play button) the map spins around to orient to north. I try to look away as quickly as I can after pressing play/record but still end up getting some nausea from the spinning. The second issue is the stupid animation that appears after an activity that says things like "way to go!" and moves around the screen. Again, more screen movement that I have to try to look away from so as to not feel seasick. I know I'm in the minority but is there a way to disable map spinning and animations? 

I use a Fenix 6S and upload activities to Strava with an Android phone.When I save an outdoor row without making any edits it saves correctly showing the pace/500m BUT as soon as I make any changes for instance to the title of the activity it switches to show Time, Distance and Calories instead which is really frustrating as it’s useless information.  I think this is part of an earlier bug with QE where it was saving the row as ‘workout’.My friend uses an iPhone and does not have this problem  as the screen shot below shows.   Links to activities are below the screenshot. https://www.strava.com/activities/15855718821   Incorrect data displayedhttps://www.strava.com/activities/15857967657   Correct data (iPhone)

Recently, I’ve been posting manual yoga activities through the app, and for some reason the time keeps being changed ahead. For example, if I select that it happened at 8pm, once I post it, the posts shows as 1am. Any tips on how to fix this? I’ve messed with settings on the app and in the website, and I can’t find anything related to how to change timezone.Thank you!

At the bike event night, when waiting to go, my Strava app stopped recording the ride. Tonight I stopped at the gate to open it up, and again the Strava app stopped recording the ride.   With any pause in movement, it appears to finish the ride.

I am currently seeing dupe activity in Strava that is feeding on into apple health. i see my Runna run and also a standalone run for each run.  Doubling up.  Hilariously one of these runs tells me I am running with… myself. i run with Runna going on my phone and apple’s native tracking on my watch. what can I switch up here?  When I tried running with Runna on my watch, it failed to track me on gps for half the run and didn’t give me any in ear coaching.  When I switched off native on my watch I got no heart rate data? anyone got hints on how to make this work?

I've tried using the stava app on my OnePlus 3 watch, both times the distance logged is incorrect. The last outing says I only rowed 6m although the maps certainly shows I've rowed more and my friend who's also rowed with me seems to have the correct distance. Have I set my preferences incorrectly? Anyone has this issue and can help?

I recently had my athlete capacity increase request approved.At first time, the athletes allows is 999.Currently, I have 989 connected athletes.I emailed the Strava team to request a higher limit and was advised to submit a new request.After submitting again, the request was approved — but the capacity still shows only 999 athletes.Could someone from Strava please confirm if this is expected behavior? If a full increase is not possible right now, would it at least be possible to raise the limit slightly (for example, beyond 999) so our users are not blocked?

Huawei Health smimming time doesn't match with Strava when data is synchronized. The activity time matches but pace data differ. Strava adds additional time thus showing slower pace. Does anyone know about this issue?
