I‘m using my Apple Watch on a treadmill which allows the Watch connection to gym equipment, i.e. the Apple watch data such as heart rate is displayed on the treadmill monitor, and the treadmill data (such as speed) is synched to the Apple Watch.  When I review the data in Apple Fitness, I see the correct data, especially the average time/km for every km. The overall time/km is also correctly shown. When I review the data in Strava, the average time/km for every km is incorrect. The overall time/km is correct. It appears that Strava gets the calculated time/km from Apple (the data the watch would assume when not connected to the treadmill) instead of the synched data from the treadmill.First Strava data (second picture with wrong data), then Apple data: 

Fitness Score doesn’t seem to take into account Strava App activities (ones I only log from the Strava App on my phone) vs those I log on my Garmin and import into Strava. Eg Nov 7 activity from Strava App is not part of Fitness Score in the screenshots.  Also, the Fitness score by always says today is “yesterday” 

I have created many new Segments in the last 7 years and I am quite familiar with the process.  Typically the leaderboards for new Segments are built in an hour or so and the process evidently involves scanning the most recent Activities first (if I am bored I might refresh the new leaderboard a few times to see it develop).About 20 hours ago I created a new Segment.  When I look at the leaderboard just now I see only 54 entries (there should be about 300, because the new Segment is essentially the first half of a much longer Segment that has this many) and all the entries are after Oct 2023, suggesting the process is only about 15 % complete.About 8 hours ago I created 3 more Segments.  When I looked just now these new Segments only have a few entries in their leaderboards and nothing before October 2025, suggesting the process is running at only a fraction of the usual speed.Is this a known problem ?  When can we expect things to return to “normal” ?Thanks in advance for your help in

Hola, a alguien más le pasa que la distancia con la aplicación nativa no coincide con Strava. En mi caso el Samsung wacht7 me dice que he corrido 6 km y en Strava me sale 5.80 km. Algún detalle en la aplicación o algo que sepan 

Since yesterday, site is not loading, having some JS errors in console. 

PAINFULLY SLOW on Mac — but only recently.I’ve been a paid subscriber for years and have never experienced this issue until yesterday. My Mac is also asking me to “Use the STRAVA app” in the search bar, and I’m getting an ad-blocker warning even though I’m using the paid version.I’ve cleared the cache, cleared my browsing history, restarted my computer, and logged out and back in to Strava — and the problem is still happening. It works totally fine on my phone/mobile app.This also seemed to coincide with a pop-up warning that I’ve opted out of allowing Strava to share my data/personal info. Coincidence?

When im browsing Strava Maps I can see the blue dots that indicate Community Photos.  When I click on one to view it, I just see a blue circle spinning like it's trying to load.   This is on the web version. Does anyone know what the issue could be?

I’ve had no profile stats for about a month I reckon. There is just a blank space where they used to go. I’ve clicked on ‘Refresh Stats’ and I get an updating popup window but then nothing ever happens.This seems to be a recurring thing Strava - get your DBAs onto this and put a permanent fix in please.Anyone else still getting these issues?S.

For a week or so now the map that is displayed when opening an activity defaults to the middle of Africa. Likely the equator  at Null Island rather than defaulting to the activity area /  showing the activity on the map. I’m a strava user of many years so am used to Strava’s quirks from time to time, but this seems to persist and I am not sure anyone else is having the same issue. It only seems to be an issue on desktop / website. I cant see anything awry in settings Etc and think s like OS maps and Google seem to default to my rough area as usual. But again this is an issue when viewing saved activities not when recording new ones, so usually it doesnt matter where I am, it defaults to the area of the activity. I.e. When I am at home in North West England and view an activity in France the map opens showing the part of France relating to the activity

Since a few days the calories shown in Strava from imported activities (e.g. from Polar) are completely wrong.Although the support article https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216917097-Calorie-Calculationstates that ... "Strava shows Calories as they were provided to us by upload partners."... the calories shown for an imported activity (from Polar) ...do not correspond to the values displayed in the device/app which recorded the activity (e.g. Polar) are completely overstatedThis issue exists for a couple of days. Until last Tuesday, Nov 2, the calories for a run shown in Strava was identical to the value provided by Polar.However, since Saturday, Nov 6 there are huge discrepancies between the calories calculated in Polar and the values shown in Strava:14k run: Polar 677 Kcal, Strava 1316 Kcal 5k  run: Polar 241 Kcal, Strava  453 Kcal 12k run: Polar 573 Kcal, Strava 1108 KcalThe values shown in Strava are clearly overstated.This is clearly a bug and I expect this to be fixed

I recorded an outdoor run activity in the zepp app. Everything was recorded correctly including map/route data. The app is linked with strava. Looking at the activity in strava however does not show map data in the run activity. What can I do to resolve this?

When using Strava on Apple Watch it does not record distance. It records all other parameters fine, route, heart rate, elevation etc. also when cycling or skiing it records distance just fine. I have tried reloading the app on phone and watch. Hope someone can help. Thanks

I want to change the email address associated with my account for accessibilty reason but everytime I change it, it tells that something went wrong and try again later. Please help me with this. Good morning.My fenix 7S has stopped recording golf rounds. My last round recorded was Friday 9th May,  and I have played 2 rounds since then. Garmin golf is recording the round, but not with the same amount of data for the round, no shot recording now, which was automatic, and club selection. Checked setting and all still set to record.Further to this the garmin app has stopped recording the distance walked during a round. Not sure if I've had a software update at that time which has caused this.Anyone else getting these issues?

My app won't open, get mesaage on android saying has bug. Have tried clearing cache, restarting, uninstalling app and reinstalling but not worked. App not been oppening past half a day Thanks

Hello,I'm experiencing an issue with the Athlete Intelligence feature in the Strava app. Every time I finish an activity, I receive an error message saying "Oops – something went wrong," and no summary is generated.I’ve already tried restarting the app and resetting it completely, but the problem persists. The feature used to work fine before, so I’m not sure what’s causing this.Could you please look into this or let me know if there’s a known fix?Thank you,  Paweł Ceranowicz

Hi All,Am I the only one who cannot save the map setting about heatmaps?It stopped working some time ago.When I open the maps, I can turn on the heatmaps layer; it works as usual, but only until I temporarily switch to another application or just turn off and on the screen.I haven't found any workaround yet, unfortunately.

Hi there, I noticed with a newer Strava update the team has provided the ability for users on event creation to add pace groups and the type of event (format) e.g. social but these fields aren’t available yet via the API are there plans to add them or is there a new endpoint that hasn’t been added to the docs that exposes these fields?Thanks, keep up the good work - Calvin 

In the Strava mobile app, when an activity description contains a link (URL) and is longer than the space shown in the activity view, the description is truncated — and the “...see more” (or “show more”) option no longer appears. As a result, the full text cannot be viewed in the app.Previously, it was possible to expand long descriptions using the “see more” link. This behavior has changed recently (oct 2nd it still worked). The issue only affects the mobile app; on the web version, long descriptions (including those with links) can still be fully expanded.So you messed up something with links in description in the last 4-5 weeks or did this on purpose?

App and watch worked flawlessly on my iPhone 14, now I’m on the 17 and I think my app is glitched.My activities are no longer synced and I’ve reset all permissions, etc. anyone else have this issue?Strava app states to accept permissions but I cannot find anything disabled/not approved to share.

We are using https://www.strava.com/oauth/authorize?client_id=...&response_type=code&redirect_uri=https://ictrainer.com&approval_prompt=force&scope=activity:write%2Cactivity:readto login the user initially. But if an user was loged in in the browser yet the login for the new user does not force a new login. How can we force this? All other platforms allows in the oauth-authorization process that the complete user login is forced. 

I have a functioning webhook but need to update the callback URL as this will be changing. First I tried simply creating a new subscription but found I couldn’t since you can’t have more than 1 active at a time. So then I tried to delete the existing subscription to recreate it - but running into the following error:{ "message": "Resource Not Found", "errors": [ { "resource": "PushSubscription", "field": "", "code": "not found" } ]}I have double checked that it’s the right sub id using the GET request to https://www.strava.com/api/v3/push_subscriptions.This query is successful which also rules out an issue with my client_id and client_secret (I am using postman and leveraging variables so know they are the same).Body is set to None.
