The current algorithm that determines Top Sport for Year in Sport is inaccurate. I walked 200 miles this year, and ran 1,800 miles--yet my "Top Sport" is walking. The reason is that my runs are split up between "Trail Run" and "Run" both of whose individual count of activities are less than the number of total walks I did since I typically go for a walk in the evening. You could fix this by either determining "Top Sport" by the number of miles NOT by number of activities, or if you are intent on counting activities, then count "All Run" instead of the subcategories. Either way, the algorithm is horrible and as a paying subscriber who ran 1800+ miles, one 100-miler, 2 50-milers, and 2 50Ks this year, it's reveals a lack of seriousness on your part to reveal to me that my top sport is "Walking" in the year in review feature. 

I just updated my mobile Strava app to see the Year in Sport and it made my map feature useless. Is anyone else having this problem? In addition to having the map covered by information boxes and the headmap not being visible, the map is covered with giant white blobs. The map feature was one of my favorite parts of the app and now its useless. 

I‘m using my Apple Watch on a treadmill which allows the Watch connection to gym equipment, i.e. the Apple watch data such as heart rate is displayed on the treadmill monitor, and the treadmill data (such as speed) is synched to the Apple Watch.  When I review the data in Apple Fitness, I see the correct data, especially the average time/km for every km. The overall time/km is also correctly shown. When I review the data in Strava, the average time/km for every km is incorrect. The overall time/km is correct. It appears that Strava gets the calculated time/km from Apple (the data the watch would assume when not connected to the treadmill) instead of the synched data from the treadmill.First Strava data (second picture with wrong data), then Apple data:

 There’s an icon for Alpine skiing, but it doesn’t work.  Uphill distance in the chairlift is included (!!) so speed is completely skewed.  Also, non-sensical segments, perhaps from summer hiking or mountain biking (?) are included in stats.  The alpine skiing icon should be removed from the list of sports that Strava “supports” until this is fixed!  The stats make absolutely no sense for downhill skiing and they are extremely misleading until you use another app to see your real stats and then figure out what the problem is with Strava.

Fitness Score doesn’t seem to take into account Strava App activities (ones I only log from the Strava App on my phone) vs those I log on my Garmin and import into Strava. Eg Nov 7 activity from Strava App is not part of Fitness Score in the screenshots.  Also, the Fitness score by always says today is “yesterday”

When using Strava on Apple Watch it does not record distance. It records all other parameters fine, route, heart rate, elevation etc. also when cycling or skiing it records distance just fine. I have tried reloading the app on phone and watch. Hope someone can help. Thanks 

Since yesterday, site is not loading, having some JS errors in console. 

When im browsing Strava Maps I can see the blue dots that indicate Community Photos.  When I click on one to view it, I just see a blue circle spinning like it's trying to load.   This is on the web version. Does anyone know what the issue could be?

Dear Team,  I have a smart watch KT71 and app Da Fit synced quite well. However, for our corporate competition, I will need to have activity log on my Strava Account.  I already connected Da Fit app with Strava but activity log does not appear on Strava.  I also tried another approach to disconnect smart watch from Da Fit and on Strava Sensors tried to add the device but it does not even appear on sensors section even though bluetooth is on.  Any ideas? I’ve had no profile stats for about a month I reckon. There is just a blank space where they used to go. I’ve clicked on ‘Refresh Stats’ and I get an updating popup window but then nothing ever happens.This seems to be a recurring thing Strava - get your DBAs onto this and put a permanent fix in please.Anyone else still getting these issues?S.

Since a few days the calories shown in Strava from imported activities (e.g. from Polar) are completely wrong.Although the support article https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216917097-Calorie-Calculationstates that ... "Strava shows Calories as they were provided to us by upload partners."... the calories shown for an imported activity (from Polar) ...do not correspond to the values displayed in the device/app which recorded the activity (e.g. Polar) are completely overstatedThis issue exists for a couple of days. Until last Tuesday, Nov 2, the calories for a run shown in Strava was identical to the value provided by Polar.However, since Saturday, Nov 6 there are huge discrepancies between the calories calculated in Polar and the values shown in Strava:14k run: Polar 677 Kcal, Strava 1316 Kcal 5k  run: Polar 241 Kcal, Strava  453 Kcal 12k run: Polar 573 Kcal, Strava 1108 Kcal

 Description: When editing an activity to change the assigned pair of shoes, the distance is not added to the new pair. This issue occurs both in the iOS app and in the web application. Previously, the mileage was updated correctly when modifying the shoe assignment.  Steps to reproduce: 1. Log an activity with the default pair of shoes. 2. Edit the activity and change the assigned shoes to another pair. 3. Check the mileage totals for both pairs.  The distance remains with the original pair and is not added to the new one.

Hi team,I had activities on zepp app, having map data, when it synced to strava automatically. Then access to strava, Strava doesn't have map.How to solve this issue. Thanks alot

Hi Team, I am having sync issue between Strava and Zepp. Whenever I start the activity in my Amazefit, it shows all the values correctlyWhen i sync my activity to the strava. It does not show the correct time, map and my location. Also, it does show the max speed of 0 km/h for my cycling activity. 

I'm connecting with Strava through the zepp app. But I'm experiencing a lot of inconvenience because my workout route record is visible on the zepp app but not on Strava. What should I do in this case?

Something happened with my walking activity from yesterday. I can’t find it at “my activities”.  I can still see the photo in my gallery and even open and edit the activity from there, but it doesn’t appear in my activity list. It’s like the activity fell into a parallel universe; it exists, but also kind of doesn’t.The activity is definitely saved somewhere in my account since I can access it through the photo gallery, but for some reason it doesn’t show up in my main activities list or feed. I haven’t deleted it and it’s not hidden. It’s just not showing up where it should. I’m trying to figure out whether this is a syncing bug, a database glitch, or something else. Maybe good additional information is that something went wrong with the GPS at the end of the activity. No idea if this could be related.  Anyone an idea how I can recover it?

Hello, To record a indoor cycling session I seem to have 2 options. 1, to manually enter a recording selecting time and distance, but miss out heart rate data. 2, to record heart rate data via a smart watch, where Strava app wont let you enter the distance covered. So then miss out distance covered.Am I missing something or Is there a way to get the best of both worlds. To record heart rate data and to add a distance associated with the session?. 

I usually crop the ends of my bike rides to remove “noise”.  I have done this more than 1,000 times without any problems.  However, today I tried to crop yesterday’s ride without success.  I proceeded as normal but after watching an hourglass and “Cropping in Progress” message for 30 minutes it returned to show the Activity, but it had not been cropped.  This happened twice.Maybe this unusual problem is related to other recently reported issues about failures to delete duplicated Activities and very slow building of initial Segment leaderboards (over 40 hours). 

I have consistently used auto-pause on rides (urban and trail) to great effect through multiple iterations of Apple Watch (series 6, Ultra, Ultra 2, Series 10) and versions of watchOS.  However about 3 months ago I noticed that auto-pause would stop with my first rest… and never resume.  This happened on my Ultra2, series 10 and now on my Ultra3.  This worked flawlessly for years… and now seems completely broken (I have not completed a ride successfully with auto-pause since the behavior started).  I ride with just the watch (as I have always with no issue).   Is anyone else experiencing this?

It looks like that there is no such option. But I think it may be a great addition for any club to have an option to least events on their website/app and even have a button for people to join their events. Could propel event usage a lot and improve quite a few metrics.Totally separate thing but another missing feature from user's perspective is to join Repeated events. With two options: Join this event and all following events, join only this this event. The same for leaving the events.Both these features will increase Event-related metrics drastically
