Description: When editing an activity to change the assigned pair of shoes, the distance is not added to the new pair. This issue occurs both in the iOS app and in the web application. Previously, the mileage was updated correctly when modifying the shoe assignment.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Log an activity with the default pair of shoes. 2. Edit the activity and change the assigned shoes to another pair. 3. Check the mileage totals for both pairs.

The distance remains with the original pair and is not added to the new one.

Have you given it some time to update the database?  It is fairly common when making edits to activity types for it to take hours, if not a day sometimes, to update the segments that the activity is matched to.  I could easily see the same thing happening when changing gear.  Have you tried to go back and check after multiple hours or a day to see if it eventually updated?

You are right, probably that day the DB was a bit laggy.
