Since a few days the calories shown in Strava from imported activities (e.g. from Polar) are completely wrong.Although the support article https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216917097-Calorie-Calculationstates that ... "Strava shows Calories as they were provided to us by upload partners."... the calories shown for an imported activity (from Polar) ...do not correspond to the values displayed in the device/app which recorded the activity (e.g. Polar) are completely overstatedThis issue exists for a couple of days. Until last Tuesday, Nov 2, the calories for a run shown in Strava was identical to the value provided by Polar.However, since Saturday, Nov 6 there are huge discrepancies between the calories calculated in Polar and the values shown in Strava:14k run: Polar 677 Kcal, Strava 1316 Kcal 5k  run: Polar 241 Kcal, Strava  453 Kcal 12k run: Polar 573 Kcal, Strava 1108 Kcal

Hi team,I had activities on zepp app, having map data, when it synced to strava automatically. Then access to strava, Strava doesn't have map.How to solve this issue. Thanks alot

Hi Team, I am having sync issue between Strava and Zepp. Whenever I start the activity in my Amazefit, it shows all the values correctlyWhen i sync my activity to the strava. It does not show the correct time, map and my location. Also, it does show the max speed of 0 km/h for my cycling activity. 

I'm connecting with Strava through the zepp app. But I'm experiencing a lot of inconvenience because my workout route record is visible on the zepp app but not on Strava. What should I do in this case?

When using Strava on Apple Watch it does not record distance. It records all other parameters fine, route, heart rate, elevation etc. also when cycling or skiing it records distance just fine. I have tried reloading the app on phone and watch. Hope someone can help. Thanks 

Hi All,I know you can crop a run however when I do Parkrun the route goes under a large highway bridge and the distance is too short, not too long. I can't figure out how to add the extra distance into the activity in my Strava app. I have the paid version and can edit in Garmin, just not in Strava. It seems odd to me if this is not possible. Am I missing something?

I want to change the email address associated with my account for accessibilty reason but everytime I change it, it tells that something went wrong and try again later. Please help me with this. I just got a new phone, and after installing the Strava app, I noticed that any time I try to view an activity (either mine or someone I follow) the app crashes. It also crashed if I try to tap on the Maps or Record features. I can navigate the rest of the app features like Groups, If I go to the “You” feature I can also navigate within the Progress option plus I can scroll down my list of activities but just can’t open any.It has been uploading activities from Zwift and my Wahoo Element IRL rides without issue.I had a Pixel 6a before and now a Pixel 8 Pro. Same Android OS version/build on both phones and settings for the Strava app are all the same too.I have done the usual troubleshooting like clear app storage/cache and also uninstalled/reinstalled the app too.Not sure if it’s a specific feature of the Pixel 8 Pro causing the issues that my 6a did not have but it’s very frustrating.Thanks for any suggestions offered!

Hello,I'm experiencing an issue with the Athlete Intelligence feature in the Strava app. Every time I finish an activity, I receive an error message saying "Oops – something went wrong," and no summary is generated.I’ve already tried restarting the app and resetting it completely, but the problem persists. Something happened with my walking activity from yesterday. I can’t find it at “my activities”.  I can still see the photo in my gallery and even open and edit the activity from there, but it doesn’t appear in my activity list. It’s like the activity fell into a parallel universe; it exists, but also kind of doesn’t.The activity is definitely saved somewhere in my account since I can access it through the photo gallery, but for some reason it doesn’t show up in my main activities list or feed. I haven’t deleted it and it’s not hidden. It’s just not showing up where it should. I’m trying to figure out whether this is a syncing bug, a database glitch, or something else. Maybe good additional information is that something went wrong with the GPS at the end of the activity. No idea if this could be related.  Anyone an idea how I can recover it?

Hi All,Am I the only one who cannot save the map setting about heatmaps?It stopped working some time ago.When I open the maps, I can turn on the heatmaps layer; it works as usual, but only until I temporarily switch to another application or just turn off and on the screen.I haven't found any workaround yet, unfortunately.

Some of us train for mountain races on treadmills and stair steppers. It turns out there is no way to enter elevation gain as a part of a manual activity, at least not in my Android Strava app. Can this please be fixed? 

Hello, To record a indoor cycling session I seem to have 2 options. 1, to manually enter a recording selecting time and distance, but miss out heart rate data. 2, to record heart rate data via a smart watch, where Strava app wont let you enter the distance covered. So then miss out distance covered.Am I missing something or Is there a way to get the best of both worlds. To record heart rate data and to add a distance associated with the session?. 

I usually crop the ends of my bike rides to remove “noise”.  I have done this more than 1,000 times without any problems.  However, today I tried to crop yesterday’s ride without success.  I proceeded as normal but after watching an hourglass and “Cropping in Progress” message for 30 minutes it returned to show the Activity, but it had not been cropped.  This happened twice.Maybe this unusual problem is related to other recently reported issues about failures to delete duplicated Activities and very slow building of initial Segment leaderboards (over 40 hours). 

I have consistently used auto-pause on rides (urban and trail) to great effect through multiple iterations of Apple Watch (series 6, Ultra, Ultra 2, Series 10) and versions of watchOS.  However about 3 months ago I noticed that auto-pause would stop with my first rest… and never resume.  This happened on my Ultra2, series 10 and now on my Ultra3.  This worked flawlessly for years… and now seems completely broken (I have not completed a ride successfully with auto-pause since the behavior started).  I ride with just the watch (as I have always with no issue).   Is anyone else experiencing this?

It looks like that there is no such option. But I think it may be a great addition for any club to have an option to least events on their website/app and even have a button for people to join their events. Could propel event usage a lot and improve quite a few metrics.Totally separate thing but another missing feature from user's perspective is to join Repeated events. With two options: Join this event and all following events, join only this this event. The same for leaving the events.Both these features will increase Event-related metrics drastically

Hi there, I noticed with a newer Strava update the team has provided the ability for users on event creation to add pace groups and the type of event (format) e.g. social but these fields aren’t available yet via the API are there plans to add them or is there a new endpoint that hasn’t been added to the docs that exposes these fields?Thanks, keep up the good work - Calvin 

I have synched my Strava account to my Peleton Tread. I get most of the data coming across fine when I run on the Tread. But what I don’t get is any elevation data which means that all my elevation data on Strava is undercooked. How do ai change this so it comes across?

Hi, Yesterday the 19 of mars 2024 I dit a max 20 min on 410w. But my power curve does not update? What can I do?   

This is a strange thing. I am using my Pixel 3 watch (Fitbit app on my Pixel 9 Pro Fold phone) to track activities (long dog walks, runs on the treadmill, outdoor skating). I’m also using ROUVY to ride indoors. As far as I can tell, both of these apps are linked to my Strava account to automatically show these activities. However, none of these activities are showing in my Strava dashboard. The strange thing is that I get friends on Strava sending me kudos for these activities (notifications). Yet, I don’t see these activities in Strava myself. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling Strava on my phone. I’ve also unlinked and reminded my ROUVY account with Strava as well.Any ideas? This is really odd to me.

Every time a Garmin activity is synced with Strava I get a notification saying "Kudos" "Wow" "Another activity down" and stuff like that. I have turned off the push notifications so I don't get them on my phones notification area, but that doesn't stop the notification icon in the app and website telling me I have new notifications.This means that if I ever get any real notification then I just won't see it because of all the spam, making the notification icon on the website and app completely useless.I have looked through all the settings but can't find anywhere to customise what notifications are enabled.

Hi, the latest updates of the iOS app have some added automation which seems to try to be helpful, but, please, how can I disable that? 😬First - making a screenshot of activity details triggers a sharing screen (where you can save an image of the map or the activity photo with stats). I understand it might make sense in some use cases, but if I'm taking a screenshot of the splits, elevation graph or pretty much anything in the activity details, I really do not want the sharing screen to pop up and hide the details that I want to capture. Second - once opening a newly imported activity, a "quick edit" dialogue pops up immediately prompting to rename the activity etc. But it's too simplified and doesn't include all the options (such as: shoes), so I always just close it and open the actual Edit mode. The "quick edit" is just a distracting and frustrating step. If anything needs to be automated this way, then perhaps
