Athlete limit increase request – anyone experiencing delays or issues?

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out to the community to see if anyone is currently experiencing similar issues with athlete limit increase requests.

My application has already reached the current athlete limit (999), and I recently submitted a request to increase the limit to 10,000. At the moment, I haven’t received any response or update regarding the status of this request.

I wanted to ask:

  • Has anyone recently requested an athlete limit increase and experienced delays or no response?

  • Are there any specific details or best practices to pay close attention to when submitting an increase request to improve the chances of approval?

  • In your experience, is it helpful to include additional context such as user scale, usage patterns, or compliance details in the request?

I want to make sure I’m following the correct process and providing all necessary information, as my application has now reached its limit and cannot onboard additional users.

Any insights or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

You could write to developers@strava.com to remind them of your request. They don’t seem to be very much organized with their wide broadband of answering time.
