Wrong results from Athlete Stats API

Dear all, I have noticed a recent change in the “Athlete Stats” API: it is returning partial values for distance and elevation (not the same values that are visible on the profile page on Strava, as this API alway did in the past).Also I’m getting decimal values (see below in red). How to change emailadress

Hi all,I don't know where to put this question. So, here i go:So i want to buy Strava Premium. I bought for 70 euro's on Google Pay.What is didn't see, that my Google Pay and Strava-mail don't match.Now i got 70 euro's on a different mailadres and no Premium.Can i change the e-mailadres on strava what is connected to Google Pay or am i doomed to make a whole new strava account?

[KNOWN ISSUE] Saved route view on Mobile inaccurate / not corresponding to Edit view

There's an odd discrepancy between the route edit mode and viewing the saved route. (Note - I’m not using routes too much so I might have missed something obvious, just let me know if that's the case - or, if this is already discussed, please point me to the right direction, I haven't found an existing thread.)Steps: downloaded a gpx file prepared by a race organiser (source: here) logged into Strava (web version) > Create route > Import GPX choose route name, select sport type (running), save open the Strava app (iOS mobile app) > Maps > saved routes > open the most recently saved route Expected result: when opening the saved route in the mobile app, the route should correspond to the designed path accurately Actual result: it seems that waypoints are missing or rather ignored, because when I open the route in the mobile app in the Edit mode, it seems correct - as on the attached screenshots: in the Edit mode, the route pretty much sticks to the actual path (heatmap), b

[KNOWN ISSUE] Flashing and Zoomed out Maps on Android

Ever since the update a few weeks ago with the new fonts and stuff, when I try to look at the map it just flashes randomly making it very difficult to zoom in or move around or see anything. This only happens in the Maps page, not the Record page. I never had an issue before this. UPDATE FROM STRAVA: Thanks for posting about this and sorry for the trouble. Our Team is aware of these issues and is currently investigating. We don’t currently have an estimated time of resolution and we ask for your patience while we look into this.

Discrepancies in athlete stats

I have an application integrated to strava api. For some athletes the stats in the API are wrong. Mostly the alltime ride distance, number of rides are way too off.  Interestingly the strava android app is also showing the wrong data when viewed as a follower. But the website is showing correct data. How can this be resolved?

How view Winter Maps? i.e.  the Fatmap topos and winter sports??Hello - in Maps, I click the Sports dropdown and only have Foot Sports and Cycle sports. Where do I add sports, like skiing, please?and where have the winter maps that FatMap had gone??Thanks

Dragging map always inserts endpoint

whenever you’re in edit mode and you drag a map to see another area, it always drops a new waypoint which you then have to delete every time! should be a way of moving the map without creating a waypoint.

what are these weird heatmap anomalies?

I noticed in the global heatmap in new york city, if you set the sports to “all sports” there weird squares all over the place. they are especially prominent if you set it specifically to “all cycle sports” or just “ride” only. they are perfectly north-south oriented, and are 0.25x0.25 miles (or 1 mile in circumference)it does not take much to tell that there are no such routes that exist in the city. so what causes these? I’m also wondering if it’s just on my side..

Cannot flag obviously bad GPS rides (215mph, 91mph, etc)!??

This is driving me nuts. There are several segments in the climbs near me which have KOMs with OBVIOUS bad GPS data; in some cases the entire Top-10 is comprised of rides with bad GPS! I’m talking OBVIOUS bad: Like 215 mph, 91mph, tons of 60-80mph -- up 12% hills! The GPS map on Strava shows them riding over water, trees, looping over roads, going in straight lines through the forest, etc.Most of them can be flagged. It’s annoying that Strava can’t figure out how to automatically flag an 80 or 200 mph segment, but oh well. BUT there are several rides -- including KOMs! -- which can NOT be flagged! When you try to flag it, you fill out the “reason” box, click the “flag” button, and the box just clears. I’ve tried multiple browsers, with multiple flagging reasons, over multiple days. No matter WHAT, some of these BOGUS KOMs and Top-10s simply cannot be flagged!WHAT GIVES?Also: Why are there certain segments which have sooooooooo many bad GPS errors?

low frame rate flyovers

The Flyover thing is kinda nice, but as I play through  an activity the frame rate progressively degrades on my iPhone 15. On longer rides, it can drop as low as 1 frame per second.

Turning off the new pop-up prompts to edit title / share activity?

Hi, the latest updates of the iOS app have some added automation which seems to try to be helpful, but, please, how can I disable that? 😬First - making a screenshot of activity details triggers a sharing screen (where you can save an image of the map or the activity photo with stats). I understand it might make sense in some use cases, but if I'm taking a screenshot of the splits, elevation graph or pretty much anything in the activity details, I really do not want the sharing screen to pop up and hide the details that I want to capture. Second - once opening a newly imported activity, a "quick edit" dialogue pops up immediately prompting to rename the activity etc. But it's too simplified and doesn't include all the options (such as: shoes), so I always just close it and open the actual Edit mode. The "quick edit" is just a distracting and frustrating step. If anything needs to be automated this way, then perhaps why not opening the newly imported activity in the Edit mod

Filter club activities by date

Hello, I'm using the getClubActivities endpoint to keep a tally of individual rides in my club. I would like to limit the response to a certain date, or at least to a certain week (i.e. this week). Is there a way to do this? Getting the date of the activity in the API Response would be enough.  Lastly, I couldn't find info on the units for the time and distance that is returned by the endpoint. I assume it's seconds for time, but not sure for distance.  Any help is appreciated.

Most recent segment completion exported to google sheets?

Hey, in google sheets, I’m attempting to set up an automated spreadsheet to use a few segment URLs as an input, and provide an output of the segment’s name and also the most recent date ANYONE has completed it. I’ve successfully grabbed the segment’s name, but not sure how to go about getting the most recent completed date. I don’t care at all about the person’s name or time or any personal information - literally just what was the date it was most recently completed. Can anyone offer a good way of doing this via Strava’s API? I have already created an API app as a DataImporter and am using google’s AppsScript editor to aid in this. Thanks for your help and time.

Athlete V3 stats API all_run_totals and others are incorrect

Since last week I noticed that the all_*_totals (eg. all_run_totals) have reset on the API to start counting from 0 even though the Strava Portal clearly indicates a much higher number.  On Strava portal my all time running stats are 113However the API https://developers.strava.com/docs/reference/#api-Athletes-getStats no returns only my most recent run count"all_run_totals": { "count": 1, "distance": 5630.0, "moving_time": 2473, "elapsed_time": 2519, "elevation_gain": 86.63724517822266}, How do I get this corrected?

FIT file is never processed

As of about a week ago any workout I have tried to upload to Strava through the API is never being processed. I checked my console log when uploading and I get a response message with a successful response code. The status field states - “Your activity is still being processed.” Here is an example of the response:success({ "activity_id" = "<null>"; error = "<null>"; "external_id" = "jtw_673D5484-C0C2-40E0-B726-B6E04C98BE86.fit"; id = 13724712499; "id_str" = 13724712499; status = "Your activity is still being processed.";})When I try to manually upload the same FIT file through my profile it begins “analyzing” the file, but never completes. Also never met with any kind of error code. I have not made any changes to how I am creating these FIT files and they have been processed successfully for over a year up until this point. Has Strava possibly changed/added a required field that I am unaware of?

Segment consolidation keeps a less accurate segment and deletes a more accurate segment

Hey Strava, I’ve noticed the following troubling pattern related to the segment consolidation effort.Let’s say there is an old segment based on trails that no longer exist because there has been some rerouting or just a segment based on a very poor quality GPS data. A new segment is created from a very accurate GPS track produced with a recently released GPS watch with dual-band GPS to correct both the segment track and the distance. At the same time the old inaccurate segment is hidden.What I discover some time later is that the accurate segment is gone without a warning - simply gone. The inaccurate segment remains but remains hidden for me. So at the end I have neither. When Strava consolidates segments it would be reasonable to check them against the heatmap and see which one is closest to recent activities. If the consolidation is based purely on the popularity or a number of hits is the main criteria, how would it be possible to account for the trail reroutings?Consider the follo

Purchased a Gift Subscrition for a friend that i never recieved

Purchased a Gift Subscrition for a friend that i never recieved - strava has done absolutely nothing to help the fact! This is like my last resort posting here - haven’t received any response on any support feed and have already paid for the subscription in full! Is there anything I can do at this point?? Coming to terms with the fact that I just have to take the $80 loss at this point

While I am finding the feedback at individual run level interesting, I feel that if the feedback (intelligence)  looked more at blocks of runs it would be of way more value..

fatmaps winter layout.

Strava is absolutely useless for us skiers. Does anyone know of an app similar to fatmaps? I don't give a damn about running or cycling, I want back the same maps that fatmaps had for us skiers.

401 error for GET requests

I'm unable to perform any GET requests after completing the initial auth setup and successfully exchanging the auth token for refresh token, access token, and expiration date.
