Hi All, I use Strava on my Apple Watch Series 6.  For the past few weeks (since last OS update), elevation gains (outdoor ride) have been way off, reporting at least double what they should be.  Is anyone else experiencing the same?  I removed and reinstalled Strava on my watch and phone, but that hasn't made any difference.

If a segment includes an out and back, how close to the turn around do I need to get for it to count?  For example, the segment includes offshoot dead end road that is ridden out and back as part of the segment.  What’s the tolerance for that segment to count or be rejected?

Currently i have an application integrated with Strava. However, the access token I’m using has expired, and I can no longer retrieve the latest activity data from Strava. What should I do to ensure my application remains connected to Strava?  

I’m using the iOS Strava app on an iPhone 15. Recently -- the past few months -- while recording an activity, the map fails to load beyond whatever initial blocks were loaded when the recording initially started. As a result, beyond the immediate vicinity of the starting point, the map view shows mostly a sea of gray, on which the GPS track is overlaid. Segments also load OK and float on the gray background. See this screenshot for an example: Maps load fine in the “Maps” tab once the activity is stopped. I can also verify it’s not a cell data issue. The issue is consistent; it’s occurred on every single one of my last dozen or so recordings. It is a usability issue that requires me to switch to a different mapping app while I’m in the middle of an activity. This is especially problematic with cycling, where I use the heat map overlay while riding to make in-ride routing choices.

Apparently streaks has been live on the app for two or three days now but even though my app is updated I can’t find them anywhere. I checked under the progress tab as well as other areas. Anyone else not seeing streaks?!

Hello, for some time i see only clean maps and it annoys me because i want to understand more when i look on route of others.Tnk.

This week (Nov 3rd - Nov 9th 2025) I had three activities of running. First on Nov 4th, 2025 12.12km and 1.01km and the third one is on Nov 7th, 2025 13.13km. In my profile activities appear the total mileage is 26.26km, but in my club’s leaderboard it only appears my 1.01km of running. Could anyone help me to overcome this problem? I’m afraid that next week will happen again like that. Thank you

There is a new bug associated with a recent app update: When you visit a Club Event in the app, links are no longer clickable or highlighted.  EVEN WORSE: You cannot highlight text, which would at least allow you to copy-and-paste the link into a mobile browser.  To summarize:  Event description links cannot be clicked, whether they are links within Strava or internet links!  The text of Event Posts cannot be highlighted or copied.  The Event text is effectively an image of text that cannot be interacted with in any meaningful way.    *** THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE FOR CLUBS ***We need people to be able to click the link to sign liability waivers We need people to be able to access our website, so they can review our ride guidelines We need to people to access map links, so they know where to… gather at the start, park their cars, or where the end-of-ride meetup is going to take place.[Side note:  I don’t want to turn one bug into something bigger, but this is really part of a larger trend.

Hi!I have been uploading my rowing to Strava (Android) for a while now, and recently I noticed that when using the ‘Quick Edit’ feature to rename/make changes to these activities, the pace units for the activity - “/500m” for rowing - is changed to be “/km”. However, this is unhelpful as rowing consistently uses the “/500m” to measure splits. This issue isn’t present when using the standard Edit Activity button. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to see if this issue is consistent across other devices/Strava versions, and I don’t know if it has existed since the introduction of the Quick Edit feature or not. Device Data:Strava V339.16 (12391138)Android Version BP22.250124.010 (Baklava)Pixel 6  

I completed a Bike and Run multisport activity using the apple fitness app. After uploading to Strava it is shown as one continuous activity. I know other smart watches upload as separate activities and would be nice if it was the same with apple fitness as you do not see any segments or average speed data for the individual sports and the transition is not accounted for either .  

I am an athlete who has always used leaderboards as a motivational tool.As I get older, I have focused more on the age-related boards. Having crossed the age boundary into 55+, all the hills that I target are heavily populated by mis-categorised ebike rides. I appreciate that the AI tool is looking for obvious cheats/mistakes, perhaps a KOM in a car.For the E-bike problem I see, I suspect it is largely about more casual riders and ignorance of the rules. I see consistent patterns in the data: Low athlete activity levels, recorded on a phone, no HR/power data, cups on hills (but no other segments) slow times on all key metrics 5k, 10k, etc. My suggestion is that you set a performance threshold and automatically recategorise all rides that meet it. For example, given the E-bike issue (in Europe maybe not the US) is largely around hills, it would be simple to set a transparent rule that if you acheive, say, a VAM of over 1,000 on a segement and you don't meet certain criteria, t

Since around 18 September 2025 I’ve noticed a drastic decrease in Relative Effort calculation.This leads to my Fitness & Freshness graph saying I’m much fresher than reality and it will also go down significantly week after week.I’ve seen the recent HR zones update and I barely changed my zones, so that shouldn’t be the reason.Any idea how it’s possible? Hi All and Strava I know there used to be an association between Strava and parkrun. But regardless of the reason for that ending parkrun is a great force for good and encourages people to exercise. My feature request is to have a runtype category of 'parkrun' much like there is one for 'race'  

estimated average power and energy output is not visible in my strava accoun for my cycling activity. What to be done?

I somehow clicked okay to move to use of a one-time password to log in, but it is less convenient and requires more steps.   how do I switch back?  There is no longer an option to change password in settings, only change email -- and I want to keep the same email.Thanks

Hello, I shared this in another post, but since the owner of that (now marked as solved) thread believes this might be a different issue, I wanted to create a new topic. I use an Apple Watch Ultra and the native Apple Fitness app to record my runs. I sync the activities to the Strava iPhone app. I’m having issues with split paces for runs where there are pauses and resumes during the run. This also affected my PRs — now I have dozens of strange PR values (e.g., 3–4–5s/km!). There are lots of people (including two of my friends) having this issue for a very long time. It’s really strange that it still hasn’t been identified by Strava. If they looked at the strange PRs recorded with Apple Watch, they would definitely notice this. Here’s my typical running scenario where I encounter this problem consistently:• I start a run using the native Fitness app on my Apple Watch Ultra.• I run ~3 km.• I pause the activity on the watch.• I wait or walk for a few minutes.• Then I resume and run anoth

I dislike this new share pop up as I can't use the scrolling screenshot to include the temperature. I see many people also dislike this popup.  I personally don't like popups at all. If I want to use the share button,. I will click on it. 

I mean, it just feels weird when you swam 2K and you see you've "made no effort" there 😆

After riding for 3 days for a solo ride of 800km I finally combined the 3 rides into one using the Fit Files Combine tool before uploading to Strava. To my disappointment the ride never got added to my club leaderboard. I let that slide but now it is still not counting as my longest ride yet. I just completed my first half marathon yesterday and had my Strava running and the RaceJoy app for tracking my bib. Strava had me at a full mile longer than my bib tracked. It was a certified course as a  Boston Qualfier (which is not me lol) so the course had to be accurate. Any ideas why my Strava was so far off and how to fix those stats? I don’t want a 14.17 mile run in there. Thanks!

Why does my watch brand/model not show up on my activities like everyone else on my feed? I have a Garmin Instinct E

Is it possible to disable everything goal related? It seems incessant lately. I signed up and pay for an app to record my activities. I couldn't care less about the screen wasting goal suggesting and constant artificial validation.
