My app interface is in Italian. But now when I record an activity instead of Passeggiata mattutina I have Morning walk. All the activities’s titles are in English. 

I’m thinking of moving from a Garmin to an Apple watch ultra.  On my Garmin its pretty easy to sync routes and segments from strava over to Garmin connect, then maps and segments all sync down to my watch and are well integrated  with the watches cycle tracking app.I’m trying to workout how this would work on the apple watch, given the strava watch app doesnt support mapping, I think I need something like Komoot for GPX routes (shared from others on strava).  For live segments I would need the strava app, and there is the native apple workout app. Which of the 3 apps do you use to start/stop etc?How do all these apps wort at the same time?  Can you easily switch between them?Are there other options for cyclists?  All I want to do is be able to follow routes and have live segments are working the same time like on my Garmin.

As stated in the title, every time I save a new activity, a group with myself is created. How to fix? 

50km ride with only 11k logged I stopped to take a photo from the lock screen and I forgot that THIS always happens so I lost most of my 50km ride. I’m pissed because I really pushed on to try to test my form in the last 15km and they were just not recorded,I’ve lost LOADS of training rides like this. Can you not fix it?I’m a software developer. Do you need a little help? 

I was confused when i finished my running program today, I finished the 13200 program in pace 4:50-5:00, and my stopwatch results was 15:41, while the finish time on Strava was 15:07, DUDE?! This app took 34 seconds off me? Please fix it.

Hi all,We’re encountering an issue with the Strava API where webhook events are not being triggered consistently when a user changes the activity type to “Surfing.”Here are some test cases we’ve observed: No webhook triggered: StandUpPaddling → Surfing ❌ Kayak → Surfing ❌ Canoe → Surfing ❌ Webhook triggered as expected: Swim → Surfing ✅ Kitesurf → Surfing ✅ Sail → Surfing ✅ Windsurf → Surfing ✅   These are the scenarios I’ve tested so far, but there may be others.One detail I’ve noticed is that when receiving webhook updates, the activity type for `Surfing` actually comes through as `WaterSport`. This may be related to the inconsistent behavior.Question:Would someone be able to clarify why webhook events aren’t triggered for some activity-type changes involving Surfing, and whether this is expected behavior? More importantly, is there a recommended way for us to ensure we can reliably process all Surfing activities, including when a user changes an ex

First of all, I want to appreciate you for making the API publicly accessible. But day to day I face issues, or lack of features, that make integrating with Strava harder. I hope this one is not another thread unanswered (or poorly answered) as with most of the threads I opened so far. Otherwise I'm afraid I'll be forced to just stop contributing. I strongly hope that's not the case.This time is about the webhook events: they do not include the sport type. IMO, this is a key field, mostly for create aspect type.As ourselves, I'm sure there are a lot of people that will need this because their App is just related to a single (or subset of) sport: cycling, running... Not having this field implies a call to the API per event to check whether if the event should be processed or not. This makes the event almost unusable.Hoping for an answer,Thanks.

I just noticed that my max heart rate was automatically changed in the app (not by me), and it caused some weird data issues: All my past activities have been updated with new heart rate zones, which are now incorrect based on this new HR max. However, the effort data (Relative Effort, etc.) remained unchanged for those older activities, so they don’t match the new HR zones anymore. For my latest activity (after the HR max change), both the HR zones and the effort score are wrong, since they were calculated using the incorrect HR max. I’ve already updated my max heart rate to the correct value manually, and even tried recalculating performance data, but nothing changed — the past activities still show the wrong HR zones, and the effort score on my latest activity is still off.Can you help me revert this change or reprocess my activities using my correct HR max value? I'd really like my data to reflect the original, accurate information.Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

I’ve been using the api/v3/activities/{id}/streams?keys=time,watts in a web application for roughly 3 years with no problems. This last week, suddenly, the exact same API call seems to be returning data with gaps: not starting with the same timestamp as the .fit file (ie, missing the first 200 or so values) and skipping one or two seconds of power data throughout the stream (ie, like Swiss cheese, full of holes)Is this my problem or Strava??

It’s interesting to see the Best Efforts in an athlete’s profile, however, in some cases the data is corrupted by inclusion of flagged Activities.  For example, here’s some data for an athlete in my local area which shows some rather impressive Best Efforts, such as cycling for 5 miles at 126 mph (!!)… If I click on the links to see the related Activity it shows they have all been flagged (hardly surprising).  Surely Activities that have been flagged in this way should not continue to be included in an athlete’s Best Efforts ?

Good evening,Is it possible to give directions in maps, like turn left in 200 meters? Today i rode a route which contained a few roads which i had to ride more than once. I have had a Samsung Watch 7 for a few weeks now. With my previous watch (Samsung S2), I could create laps with the watch. How can I create laps with the Samsung Watch 7?

Hi,I got the following error when trying to fetch from activities/xxx/streams:Access to fetch at 'https://www.strava.com/api/v3/activities/15565079206/streams?keys=latlng&key_by_type=true' from origin 'https://strava-mapy.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.When debugging in chrome, I can see on “Network tab” no Access-Control-Allow-Origin response header for activities/xxx/streams request:It seems like a bug. It must have disappeared recently because I remember two weeks ago it worked fine.I also noticed that other methods work fine - let’s see for example response headers for /activities method:Could you check it, please? You can’t filter by Pickleball in the Training Log. Pickleball also has some odd behaviour as activities. When you view the activity by itself, the symbol is for “Workout”. When you view the activity in the feed, it’s correctly “Pickleball”.   

New user here. I see the section at the bottom of the screenshots which implies trail reports, but it looks like it’s for reporting a violation of some kind when I click through. Is this actually a section where people’s reports of violations show up or is it intended to be trail reports like Trailforks? A user on Reddit has some insight but is this a relic of a previous feature or something that will be coming?  

I frequently see KOM or fastest times for segments for running at speeds at which it is impossible to run, (above 25km/hr or whatever). Can't there be an algorithm applied to the segments placings which deletes these impossible times? You can't run 58km/hour. Not too dificult to filter out these times when a certain sport is chosen.

I am loving the Apple Fitness+ integration! One problem: On a few of my recent Apple Fitness+ workouts, the symbol for the activity is incorrect in some screens. I have attached screenshots to show that they correctly display as Yoga in some screens, and others show the general activity.  

When recording an activity on my Google Pixel Watch 3 like a walk, my activities sync just fine.  If I record a “Mountain Bike Ride”, then it will not sync.  I have to manually download and upload the file.  Is there a reason that an MTB Ride won’t sync, but a “Bike Ride” or a “Walk” will?  My understanding was that if it has GPS data with it then it should sync.

I play tennis, and I used to see these activities on Strava. However, for the last two weeks, tennis has stopped appearing; I can still see my other types of activities.

I don't understand why when the data is coming from SAMSUNG HEALTH (main health app that I use) the big chunk of data is missing. I attached the photo from my samsung health because the distance is far off from the Samsung Health.  I also tried editing it on website but I cannot find the "CORRECT DISTANCE". 🙄😒

My wife is training for a marathon and has a Galaxy Watch 7 connected to Samsung Health. Samsung health has Strava added as a service. She starts the run activity from her watch. Most of the activity syncs but not all. It’s pretty random how much is not the same as Samsung Health. We’ve tried resync but still getting these strange differences. Any ideas?

Our week starts on Sunday, and my monthly running diary, every week starts on Monday and it's hard to understand how many days I'd ran every week and which week... is there a way to change it? In Garmin, as I remember, I can choose the starting day of the week..Thank you!
