A few weeks ago, elevation gain started showing up as 0 for all hikes and runs auto-imported to Strava from my Fitbit Charge 6. I understand it doesn't come from the data coming from Fitbit, as it doesn't track elevation. If I use 'correct elevation' link on Strava website for a specific activity, the elevation gain number is added. It used to show up automatically, so something must have changed.

The same hike tracked directly with Strava app on the phone shows correct elevation gain right away, but of course it's missing the heart rate data then.

Was this feature removed unintentionally?..

I also have a Fitbit Charge 6 and have the GPS setting for my rides and runs set to “Phone”. This is supposed to provide elevation data when the Fitbit activity uploads to Strava, but it doesn’t. So I have to correct the elevation through the Strava app or web interface by opening the activity, clicking the three dots (...) and selecting “correct elevation”. Not sure why, but it’s an extra annoying step for something that should just work.

Any fixes (not workarounds) from this community would be appreciated, thx!
