I’m trying to use strava audio queues from my apple watch SE but I only have pace and distance audio queues in the run options. I gave all permissions regarding heart rate. All my runs have heart rate charts and everything, its just not showing up as an option for audio cues. (Fitness and motion is on and all that). Is there a fix to this? I have a premium subscription as well.

Hi @Glcorreia,

You’re trying to do this directly in the Strava app on your Apple Watch, right? Because if that's so, I’m afraid it's not possible, the audio cues in the AW Strava app are fairly limited:

You can enable real-time audio feedback to alert you when you start, pause, resume, and stop your activity. You can also hear feedback about your total distance and if you're recording run activities, the pace on your last split, and the total average split pace.

I personally like utilizing audio cues on my runs too, and because the Strava app doesn't have many options, I use the native Apple Workout app and its audio feedback to record my runs, and sync to Strava once the activity is complete. Besides of splits and start/pause/unpause/stop cues, I can set either a range (lowest & highest) or a target value for real-time alerts:

  • pace (average, last rolling 1 km / 1 mile, actual)
  • heart rate
  • running power
  • cadence

… so this way I can stay with whatever target I need for that particular run.
