It seems that after my Export of my Data to Excel, I am getting a huge number for Time (seconds?) and what may be the distance in kilometers (see below).

How do I get the Elapsed Time field in hours:minutes:seconds so I can tally and format in Excel?

How do I set the DIstance to be in Miles (not what appears to be kilometers) such as 6.75 Miles? (My Profile already has selected "Miles").

Thanks for your help.

Elapsed TimeDistance
606914.55

Hi @flashmason

Thanks for posting about this.  It's not possible to choose another format for any data fields when you request your data export from Strava.

The best workaround is to look for online calculators that will convert to the format you're looking for.  I hope that's helpful.

I wrote a web app to import strava activities into google calendar. It can also import all your activities to a google sheets training log. Distance and time are given in miles & hours which can easily be reformatted in sheets or the entire spreadsheet saved as an excel file. You are welcome to give it a try here:  https://gcalimporter-sphq7qewrq-wn.a.run.app

(it's hosted on google cloud hence the odd url)

kgllc774 you are an absolute genius!!! I was about to manually copy my last 3 months Strava into a spreadsheet then tried your app and it pulled in 15 years perfectly in about 2 minutes. Fantastic work!
