I admin clubs that hold Strava events regularly.
Problem: Once an event has passed, it disappears from the club page and is no longer linked to anywhere and cannot be found (unless you jotted down the event URL before it disappeared).
It would be nice to have depository somewhere of past club events for member reference - for example, to support recurring events, or to look up who RSVP-ed.
Or have anybody found a workaround to access past club events?

Thanks for posting about this. I do have a workaround I can suggest.
If you have event email notifications enabled, you will get an email when you create an event, and you can then store those emails. The event links in the email are always accessible, they're just not in the club itself once the events have passed.
