Strava has a lot of great information about my activities, so I'd love to see it use that information to create adaptive training plans.I'd like to be able to do things like:Tell Strava that this is an easy run, so warn me if my heart rate gets too high.I want to increase my efficiency (run faster for same effort/heart rate): use AI to figure this out.I want to increase my endurance for this distance (or where I tell it which route I want to run), again use AI to figure this outEncourage me in appropriate ways during these runsI don't want to have to use other apps (that don't have my long Strava history) to do this.

Hello!Our NGO (https://www.bartali.org.il), is organizing a "challenge" this weekend, in support of the children who lost their families in the war in Israel on October 7th.I would like to ask what is the best way to set up such a challenge on Strava, so people could log-in the miles they are riding, where ever they are (either from their Garmin or from ZWIFT) and it will all be summed on one dash board.Would truly appreciate your prompt help!!

This subscriber feature has been non-working for over two years now; I’m posting it here now in a hope to get some votes and, ultimately, a fix.Steps: In the iOS app, navigate to tab Maps, sub-tab Segments, and select either “Break your record” or “Climb the leaderboard” item.The “Break your record” feature is supposed to show segments with a potential to get a new PR. Instead, it only shows a small amount of segments (two in my case) with very outdated “Current PR” and “Projected finish”. When checking back in my running history, these numbers are from September 2021 (actually around the time when I switched from free Strava to subscription), and weren’t updated since then. The “Climb the leaderboard” should show where you’re close to get to the Top 10. But, instead of showing my regular segments where I actually am close to Top 10 or QOM, a bunch of random segments is listed, at a quick glance I never ran through a single of them. And I think

A route designed for riding, when opening on the IOS app, is shown on a the heat map of runners. This creates confusion when wanting to deviate from said route, as you may turn into a path that is walkable but not rideable. Any idea what I am doing wrong or is this a bug? Note: I both run and ride and switch between making routes for both often. However, cycle routes are always shown on running heatmaps.

I’m thinking of organizing a one month walk/hike challenge for my colleagues at work. The winner at the end of the month will be the one with the most distance covered. Planning some prizes to give away as well. Would be great if I can create a challenge within the club page. 

When I use apps such as MySwimPro with the Apple Watch it automatically Tuens on the "water lock" feature on the Apple Watch.If I start a swim with Strava on the Apple Watch this doe snot happen. What is more, I cannot swipe up to manually turn on the water lock.Is this just me or am I missing something?

I had to cancel and restart a new account , I have download all the data with my previous activities.. started to upload them, and then suddenly I have top a maximum .. do I have to wait 24hrs to continue uploading a few more, or is there another way .. Thanks in advance  

I've seen these poppoing up on the map and not really sure how to use them properly? I recently found you can long press these and routes pop up but I don;t know if these aer auto-genereated or come from the heatmap of the POI starting there. I'm interested in seeing POIs for parkrun, in theory that should pop up a 5k route that has been run thousands of times. However, I'm not seeing that so wondered what people were doing with them instead.

Apologies if this post is a duplicate, but I hit this as a new user. I asked friends who are long time users and they confirmed they've hit it also.It would be nice if say, when forgetting to switch an activity before a record, and the speed of that activity wasn't possible, rather than terminating the recording of the activity while it's underway (what I believe is what happens..) that the app would record the activity and when clicking "Finish" the app offered up "Hey, this activity was too fast for [activity]. Were you doing something else? [offer navigation to select another activity whose speed range lies within the Record's max speed].Example is doing a walk, then doing a bike - but forgetting to reset the activity type from walk to bike before that bike Record. In my case I got home from my bike (which was recording a walk) and the recording appeared to have just been terminated; the app was not Recording when I got back.I assume the termin

I have set a distance target for my cycling stats this year but I’m unable to find a feature that will allow me to set a target for feet/metres climbed.is anybody able to point me to where this can be found or is Strava able to get this added as a feature please?

I've just begun using Strava to track my soccer sessions. What advice do you have for a beginner like me? Also, I'm curious about your soccer picks – any recommendations or predictions for the upcoming matches?

Everyday I log my commute and track my progress under profile quick and easily. It’s been moved ? Where? I can’t find my progress for the year and stats …

Hi,  firstly apologies if this has been suggested or is fixable already within Strava. I'll be clear, I have not issue personally with heatmaps however, when I am following a saved route it is not helpful or useful having my global heatmap both the same colour and overlaid onto the map that I am trying to follow.  It would be more useful to have the saved route either as a separate colour or, preferably, turned off altogether.Trying to distinguish the route I am trying to follow from a heatmap that are both the same colour is confusing and quite frankly exasperating.

Unfortunately, due to some system error, I have stopped following or being followed. I would like to request a correction or check if this has occurred in other accounts. Thank you very much in advance.

So, my main sport is mountainbike enduro racing and some XC riding. The decisions to block segments with a -0,25% slope removes 98% of the segments i want to ride and it includes both XC & enduro trails. I would like the option to sync those segments on my own risk to my polar watch so i can use the Live segments function. The only thing a want out of it is to see the final time when i have finished my run.Those segments are dangerous with rocks and trees so when strava decides to remove those segments for me it does nothing for my safety, One of the most popular XC trail nearby is claimed as hazardous because it has 2-3 50meter slopes on a 6km mostly flat trail, and it is a mess to send a "false hazardous flag" all the time

I've finally gotten fed up with the Adidas Running app. It was terrific until Adidas bought it but it's gone steadily downhill. I have a Galaxy S22+ and a Galaxy Watch 5. The app constantly loses GPS connectivity and to top it off, most of the time it refuses to take the Samsung Health data to replace a bad workout. So, I've started a trial of Strava and can't seem to find out how to do the following which I can do with the Adidas app: Sync the heart rate monitor in the Galaxy Watch 5 which runs on Wear OS 3 (it didn't work with my Watch 4, either) to the app on the phone. Get audible feed back in time and distance. For instance, with the Adidas app, I can get feedback every two minutes and every half mile. I don't want to have to constantly look at my watch or to use the watch app to get that feed back. Looking forward to any advice anyone has.

It appears there have been some recent changes in routing that have started causing problems for me.Here's one example:https://www.strava.com/routes/3094852996270569588You can see that instead of simply going straight at the light and crossing the road, Strava's route turns right at Olympic, then makes an illegal U turn across two lanes of traffic. Totally bizarre.Can someone at Strava take a look? Thanks

in my opinion it makes no sense to assign the ranking for those who use an e-bike, e-mtb or other electric bikes (I have an e-mtb). The performance is not 100% of the athlete ...

I'm a subscriber who rides an ebike as well as a regular bike. 2 days ago my total mileage included both types of ride. Today, I see only the mileage for the regular bike, which is substantially less than my ebike total. Because I can't set a goal for my ebike rides (i.e. Strava doesn't let me), I use the total mileage to help me keep track of where I am with my personal goals. If Strava is going to make that widget to be only goal-oriented then they need to add another that is total mileage regardless of the bike type. So much for being an all-inclusive company!
