Hey friends, 

I've been dying for an "all-time local legend" feature (i.e. number of attempts on a segment not just in the past 90 days). I'd really like to build it myself from the Strava API but I'm not sure I can extrapolate the data from what the API surfaces. I'm able to get the local legend data for a given segment, but nothing before the last 90 days. I'm wondering 2 things:

- Am I missing an easy way to solve this problem?

- If not, would the Strava engineering team every consider adding functionality to the API to fetch all time local legends? (Or even fetching local legends for a given time range).

Any thoughts are welcome!

Hi ​@melsawyer, while this doesn't answer your question - there's a feature request that you might want to vote for (assuming that adding the functionality to the UI makes it available for the API too): 

 

​@melsawyer There is currently no way to do this with the API. You have to vote and wait for the all time local legend feature Jana has linked to and then you have to hope it will be included in the API as well.
