I would like to use and ride with my ebike the very same segments that are already made for ride. Probably in all of the cases (at least in my country) the segments are identical for both bike types.

I think the "ebike" is same kind of variable such as gender, age and time in segments that you can sort, filter and look.  There's no need to do individual ebike segments. I've done several segment conversion from ride to ebike but in the end it doesn't make any sense.

Of course the leaderboards shall be separated based on this biketype variable.
