Is this problem still going on? I cannot see the Side By Side Comparison statistics for two people I follow on the web site. I can see all their runs.
If I look at their statistics in the App, I can see them there.
It would be nice to see it on the website however since more statistics are shown there than on the App.
I’ve had this issue now with a few of my followers for a few months. Still unresolved.

While sitting tight, I discovered one more piece of information that I'd like to share and maybe it'll shed some light -- or not.
I discovered the time frame which a user must be "inactive" for the side by side comparison data to be omitted from his/her profile. It's exactly three months. I know a lady who uploaded last on December 15th. This Tuesday, (March 14th) I was able to view her side by side stats. Today the 16th, that data has gone missing.
Let me know if you need me to write this up as a trouble ticket.
Interesting. For me, I just lost random side by side comparison info from people I follow who run pretty much everyday, so the 3 month rule is not applicable in my case.

Well, I opened up a ticket and got this response back:
"Thanks for writing in. We are aware of this issue and are working on solving it as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience. If you have any additional questions please let us know."
Now, I'm going to leave that ticket open until it's fixed. But I must say, in most companies leaving a software bug unfixed for three quarters of a year will result in some managerial action. For my part, all I've got it the upcoming $80 yearly membership bill. 😲
I think I've lodged a ticket now too - well it wasn't straight forward or clear but I've had an email acknowledging my input. Let's see, we can only do what we can do, and I agree with you @JBW-Florida.
After a couple of descriptive emails to Bryant at Strava Support, I was about to send profiles of friends I couldn't see side by side comparisons for - but it all appears to be working now!? Is this the same for everyone else too?
Fixed for me as of yesterday.
