Hi guys,

The problem is my training record title is in russian language even though the mobile-phone language is English.

What I had tried that didn't help (new records still on russian)

- Change language on phone and change back to English

- Delete Strava and install again

- Set English in web Strava

Phone: iPhone xr, ios 16.6.1, but It reproduces on other ios also

Hey @Oleksii2281,
Thanks for posting. There are a couple of different locations that may be determining the displayed language on your account.

Activities & Emails - Your activities are uploaded in a different language than preferred

  • The email language may be set to a different language on your account, this can affect the language of any email notifications and the titles of your uploaded activities.
  • To update your account language please go to: https://www.strava.com/settings/email > Email Language > update the language accordingly.

Website - Profile Page is displayed in a different language than preferred

  • The language displayed on the Strava website can be changed by accessing the language dropdown menu at the bottom of any page on the website. Please see image below:

Mobile App - Application is displayed in a different language than preferred

  • The Strava app will be displayed in the same language as your phone's system language. So, if your phone itself is set to use that language, the Strava app will do the same. At this point it's not possible to manually set the Strava language to a different one than that of your phone's system.
  • Some users have experienced the Strava app displaying a language that does not match that of their phone's system language. In this case, simply toggle your phone's language to a different option - then back to your language of choice; this should do the trick.
