I have this memory that in previous versions of Strava if you followed a route the track of the route was given by a red or orange line. When I walk in the outback, I often put the trip into Strava as a route, so I have a backup in case I am unsure where to go.
I have the version for Android, and this line doesnt appear anywhere and I dont see any settings where I can turn this on. Is the line still a thing?

Hey @ilpostino,
For this option, you'll need to select the routes button in the bottom lefthand corner of the record screen. Then you can select the route that your hoping to follow. After selecting Start to begin recording, you can select the pin icon to switch to the map view.
Another tip would be to download the route your hoping to use for offline use just incase your internet connection is spotty in the certain parts of your route.
To download a route for offline use navigate to the maps tab and select the bookmark icon to the right of the search bar at the top of the screen. From the Saved Routes list select the route that you are hoping to download for offline use. Under the route title and description, you'll see the download offline option next to Saved.
