How do I switch email accounts without getting locked, so that I can reassign the email I want to keep to the actual account I use

I have been unsuccessful with the chat bots, the support tickets that don’t answer questions.

I have duplicate accounts linked to the same email, meaning the first part before the @ are the same. one of the emails ends in gmail.com and the other is the googlemail.com which in Strava appear as different emails, but link to the same account. I want to keep the email ending in gmail.com and transfer it to the account I actually use.

I then want to delete the other account and still be able to use my email for strava. The issue and reasonable solution is to go in and change the email in the account I want to delete, but every attempt of doing that locks the account up.

Since strava doesn’t have any human CS agents I’m afraid if I do the delete account it could delete both accounts, or not allow me to use the email any further.

beyond frustrated with Strava. so wish there was an alternative out there.
