Wrapping up 2023...A Thank You to our members

As we wrap up 2023, we would like to thank all our members for their input here on the Community Hub and share some of our highlights from the year. Over the past 12 months, we have welcomed many new members and we’ve enjoyed reading your stories, ideas, and discussions. 

There were a number of inspiring and inspirational stories that our members shared this year. Take a look and give some kudos to @JasonGirouard who ran EVERY block in Manhattan, @Ken shared his weight loss journey with us and @1Danimal  shared how Strava Beacon saved him after a bike crash. 

We also saw a number of ideas that our teams were able to deliver this year including Direct Messaging, Assign Default Gear by Activity type and integrating with NIKE. In addition to NIKE, we also integrated with Spotify allowing users to easily access music, podcasts & audiobooks from the Strava app while tracking activities. 

We particularly loved seeing our members helping each other out this year; @Anchskier helped another member understand our flagging system, @Jan_Mantau helped out with this live segment question and provided a helpful workaround here, and @zecanard shared their knowledge on viewing older activities. These are just a few of the examples we saw this year. 

To all of you who post, comment, and help others, keep those posts coming, Strava sees you and appreciates you. Thank you for helping us grow and thrive in 2023; we look forward to seeing all your contributions in 2024! Happy New Year!
