Please remove this from the feed as it may well encourage unhealthy behaviours. Rest days are just as important. Seeing a message about more / fewer activities than last week discourages my use of Strava.

And while on the subject of removing features, I have zero interest in knowing what I did on a particular day last year.

Thank you

Agree; a few of more things from my perspective:

  • This feature is not placed in the right place. If there is any need for this, it should be under the Progress sections, not in the main feed.
  • What does this widget imply? I can't understand how the number of activities is a good metric. The design of the widget is flawed as it implies fewer number of activities is bad (red arrow), regardless of considering other metrics such as time, distance, watt, elevation, that is very dependant on the condition of the user and where they are in their training schedule.
  • It's simply making the feed bloated.

This feature is not align with what I used to from Strava, as it used to be always simple and user-friendly.

I agree. I don't want to see it and have been trying to figure out how to take it out of my feed. I would love to know if there is a way to take it out of my feed. It is also discouraging my use of the ap.

@markwhite00, as for seeing activities from a year ago, that idea has been suggested by another member. You can take a look at it here and add your kudos and feedback.

Very much dislike this feature and I agree that it should not be located in the main feed. At minimum, you should be able to turn it off.

Thanks!

@Scout - Like it or hate it, my primary feedback for Strava is to stop implementing new features that don't have a means to be disabled.  New features may be liked by some, but hated by others.  For some reason, Strava keeps making changes that us, the paying users, have zero control over.  Give us the option to enable to disable these features.  The most annoying thing any platform (Strava, Facebook, etc...) can do is to add/change something with the thought that they know more about what we want to see than we do.  Let us have a look, but then let US decide whether we want to incorporate it into our feed.

I absolutely hate this feature in the main feed. Another unhealthy reminder pushing me to do more than I actually want to do?

I agree, I have been trying to remove this feature for weeks. I am currently in my third trimester of pregnancy, and just exercising as I enjoy right now is my goal- not comparing my efforts week to week. I agree this should be a feature not on the main feed. It might possibly cause me to stop using the app
