We’re excited to share some fantastic updates to our ranking, badging, and leaderboard system. These changes are designed to enhance your experience, reward your contributions, and make it easier to track your progress in the community. Here’s what’s new:

What’s New?

1. Updated Ranking System

We’ve simplified our ranking system to make it clearer and more intuitive. Here’s how it works:

• Be active: As you participate in the community – posting, responding, marking answers, etc., you’ll work your way up our new ranks.
• New Ranks: We’ve streamlined our ranking system, from Hub Newbie to Hub Legend. The new ranks can be found here:

Hub Rookie

Hub Climber

Hub Explorer

Hub Trailblazer

Hub Adventurer

Hub Powerhouse

2. New Badging System

Badges are a fun way to recognize your contributions in specific areas. Badges will be focused on participation around peer to peer support and creating conversations in the Hub. Some highlights:

• Activity Badges: Awarded for actions like starting discussions, providing helpful responses, or reaching a posting milestone. 
  • Badges will be awarded for: 
    • Creating topics (including conversations, questions and ideas)
    • Replying to topics 
    • Sharing a solution (as marked by the original poster or Hub moderators)
  • Previous activity will be rolled over into this new system.
• Special Event Badges: Participate in special events or challenges to earn exclusive badges.

Due to technical limitations, some badges from the old experience will not be included in this new system; these badges will be applied to profiles as “legacy” badges.

How Do These Changes Benefit You?

• Recognition: Your contributions matter! These updates give more visibility to our most active and helpful members. We’ll also shoutout our top users on a regular basis.
• Engagement with others: Compete with fellow members on leaderboards and celebrate your progress!
