Activity uploaded via API shows on my feed but not my profile

I uploaded an activity through the API. It shows up in my feed, but it doesn't appear on my profile. Did I do something wrong? Is this expected?

    That can happen if the starting date of the activity is wrong.

      It shows up now that I received my first Kudos on the activity
