Apple Health workouts from 3rd-party app (Smart Gym) not syncing to Strava via Apple Health

Strava imports workouts recorded via the Apple Watch Workout app (e.g., runs), but does not import strength workouts created in a 3rd-party app (SmartGym).

Those workouts do exist in Apple Health, so I don’t understand why they’re not being imported.

In fact, when I signed up, it did import historic workouts from that app, now it’s just not importing new workouts.

What I’ve checked:

  • Workouts are visible in Apple Health (duration, calories, HR present), see images

  • SmartGym has permission to write workouts

  • Strava has permission to read workouts

  • Apple Health connection reauthorized

  • Tested across multiple workouts/days

  • Apple Health sharing: Enabled both directions

  • Deleted and reinstalled Strava and Strave Apple Watch app

Any help/ advice?

If this is not possible, Strava is not useful to me.

See images below. Strength workout exists in Apple health on February 4th and 2nd, but are not detected in Strava…
