Hello everyone,

I’m responsible for the development of AltaLinha, a responsive web platform focused on motivating physical activity through challenges and competitions.

We have completed our integration with the Strava API and have now reached the initial limit of 10 connected athletes. As a result, new users are currently unable to connect their Strava accounts to our platform.

We submitted our Athlete Capacity Increase / Developer Program Review request on August 14, 2026, for the following application:

  • Application: AltaLinha
  • Client ID: 270264
  • Website: https://www.altalinha.com.br/
  • Current athlete capacity: 10
  • Current status: athlete limit already reached

We understand that the review process does not have a guaranteed turnaround time, but we would like to confirm that our request was successfully received and ask whether there is any additional information we can provide to help with the review.

We are available to provide any required materials, including:

  • integration screenshots;
  • OAuth flow details;
  • information about the scopes being used;
  • webhook implementation details;
  • privacy policy information;
  • account disconnection and data deletion processes;
  • technical details about how Strava data is handled within the platform.

We already have users waiting to connect their accounts, so any guidance regarding the status of our request or any changes required on our side would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and for supporting the developer community.

The Strava policy states: “ ...you will hear from Strava if you are admitted, or if Strava requires additional information.”

Your app description with “challenges and competitions” sounds suspicious though. Challenges is something Strava earns their money with and wouldn’t want it to be replicated for free. And competitions would involve users seeing Strava data from other users, that’s usually denied.
