I cannot understand why the Strava Team is ignoring this.

Hey, what comes from this? I’ve received zero response from Strava in over 2 weeks other than a “thanks for submitting” email. If they created an API, why is it such a hassle to use it?

This is truly a disappointing experience, I hope Strava improve from this in the future.

Status: No response. Followed up via email (developers@strava.com) on May 21 — received only the standard auto-reply directing me back to the form.

Adding my name to the list. The app is fully compliant with brand guidelines (official Connect with Strava button, Powered by Strava badges on all relevant screens) and is currently in internal testing on the Play Store. Launch is blocked until the athlete limit is lifted.

Happy to coordinate on any collective outreach if this thread goes that route.

Well, this explains it. New conditions accounting for AI usage, and also forcing anyone who wants to start with the API to get a subscription: 

In their developer API email blast, they mentioned a code for 3 months free, but I didn’t receive that. Curious if anyone else did.

In my opinion this is good news. I can at least start working on my app with a multi-user approach !
I hope the athlete limit increase request will follow up quickly when asked. I don’t mind paying a subscription fee for it, especially if it boost me up to unlimited usage.

The boost isn’t to unlimited usage. I don’t see this speeding up the limit increase review process but I hope so!

I guess this is more like a “I am not alone” thread than something that will achieve anything. The new policies have discarded anything about a 7 to 10 days response time and follow up emails in favor of “don’t bother us after you have submitted for a review”:

3.6  Developer Program Admissions, Rate Limit, and Athlete Capacity Increase Requests

Admission to the Strava Developer Program is at Strava's discretion and is not guaranteed. Strava does not commit to a fixed review-time service-level agreement; you will hear from Strava if you are admitted, or if Strava requires additional information.

I’ve filled in the form 3 weeks ago and I requested 500 or 1000 athlete connections. I’m now getting close to my 10 limit, do you think I need to resubmut the form after this weeks API announcement?
