Hello Strava,
I have wished many times that I could comment gif’s on the platform. I think this would increase the level of engagement I have with the community.
Many accounts I follow often post silly titles/descriptions, and I could engage with those on a deeper level if I could comment gifs. I am a long-time user of Strava (probably about 10 years now). In early days, I really only engaged with the app competitively: going for KOM’s or long rides to show off. In the last few years I have seen the app transform past that. Now, friends write descriptions, jokes, opinions, anything in the titles of their activities. It has grown into a more expressive / interactive place, which I imagine has attracted more users to the community. Adding gifs would further this engagement, and deepen the community.
