I don't seem to be able to edit my API app?

My API app shows as disabled, and doesn’t allow me to edit its name, callback URL, etc. I’ve not used it for a long time and wanted to start fresh.

It was created well before the the API ToS restrictions but I just want it now to convert genuinely private rides to private, not public by default. Or visa-versa - all uploads are private and get converted if deemed not to involve a private destination.

I’m having the same issue. If I hit the Edit button on my app, all the fields are grayed out and uneditable.

I can see the same problem, editing the API settings is not possible. @alexellis You can’t change the visibility of activities with the API anyway, you can only hide them from the feed.

@Jan_Mantau that’s weird, it was an API that I used about 10 years ago - all the time. My activities from Garmin Connect were always private, and I used webhooks/API calls to update them to public (conditionally)

Bizarre that premium paid users don’t get access to set proper privacy on their activities. I saw there is a separate thread where this is being requested again. It makes sense to bring it back, especially since these apps are generally limited to one rider (ourselves).

And still Strava has no way to hide the mid-point of a ride, or a particular destination.

What I don’t want to do is to default to private, then have to manually click every other ride through 4-5 clicks as “Public” again.
