Has anyone experienced submitted the athlete limit increase form and not hearing definite answer about your application? I’ve submitted and followed up by email but haven’t gotten a response.

Saw this reply in a different thread, but having followed up by email and not getting a reply I’m stuck on what to do next.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, Emily! That’s the email I’ve got and have reached out to. I’ll keep an eye out over the next few days. I originally applied on March 13th.

Hi @pizzamiheart

I’ve been having the same issue. I submitted an initial request in February and another one on 20 March. I followed up by email, but I have heard nothing.

If you hear anything, please can you update this thread? I’ll do the same too.

Cheers,

Lee

@Jaypennson I see!

@Emily_A I followed back up with the developers email on 3/30. Haven’t heard back yet. Sounds like others are in the same boat.

Hello, also adding to this thread. Got pushed back on my initial request with instructions to add more context and then never heard back for the second request. Tried sending an email but also no response (client ID 196063)

Adding a canary to the mine.  I just submitted my first application requesting 10-25 athletes.

Hi @Emily_A @Elliott,

Following up on my previous attempt to contact you a few days ago: our usage is increasing rapidly, and we expect to reach our capacity limit in 2-3 days (840/999). My Customer ID is 153671.

Please assist us as soon as possible to prevent any service disruptions.
Thank you in advance.

Hi @Emily_A @Elliott ,

I created a separate post regarding my athlete capacity increase request, and then noticed there are quite a few similar cases here. So I’m sharing my case here as well, in the hope that you may be able to help.

My application is currently using 983 out of 999 athlete slots, and the number is continuing to grow. My client ID is 212887.

I would sincerely appreciate your help in approving my athlete capacity increase request, as this would help prevent service disruption for new user registrations in my application.

Thank you very much for your time and support.

Best regards,
David

Hi @Emily_A,

I’m in a similar boat as a lot of the others here. I submitted my request on April 8th and followed up by email on April 9th but have only received an auto-reply back. My client ID is 218228.

Thank you for your help,

Eldridge

I’ve been waiting for almost six weeks for an approval for a small # of users in order to run a beta test of my app. Have emailed developers@strava.com multiple times with no response. Client ID is 215103.

Same for me.

I have made my initial request on 31 Mar, and have received email to resubmit my application with further details on Apr 4. I have resubmitted on Apr 4 and have followed up with 2 emails on Apr 16 and Apr 22 respectively. My client ID is 218512, thank you Strava for reading and hopefully I will get my respond soon!

Same situation here.

EndoGusto (Client ID: 127630) — endurance coaching platform. 585 / 999 connected athletes and growing weekly.

Last formal request: April 2 to developers@strava.com (ticket #13294) — auto-reply pointed us to the increase form, which we completed. Multiple follow-up emails since — no response 25 days later, well past the stated 7–10 business day SLA.

Today (April 27) we fully exhausted the 300 / 15 min app rate limit. Activity imports and backfills started failing with HTTP 429 in a re-enqueue loop. We had to drain ~250 stuck tasks to disk to break the cycle and pause replay until the daily window resets at 00:00 UTC. Real coaches and athletes are watching syncs fail right now.

@Emily_A  — any chance of an update on ticket #13294?

So is there a way to request an API athlete limit increase on this thread then? If so, please count me in! I’ve got an app ready to beta test and need to graduate from the one (1) I have now - Is there a way outside of sending an email? I’ve done that but looks like that might take a while.

Thanks!
