Hi, we submitted the developer program / capacity review form on 27 Oct 2026 and are waiting for a response. We are a volunteer-run, non-commercial running/cycling community in İzmir (Strava club 1275996, ~420 members). Our app is currently at 10/10 connected athletes; it shows aggregated club totals and an opt-in top-5 leaderboard to club members only, using read and activity:read scopes. Happy to provide updated screenshots or change anything needed for approval. Thanks!

It will maybe be rejected due to replicating Strava’s club feature.

Thanks for the feedback, that’s a fair point — we definitely don’t want to replicate Strava’s club features, and our members keep using the Strava club as usual.

Our use case is complementary and lives inside our own community app (events, group sessions, member area):

  • Personal stats page: each member sees only their own data — weekly/monthly progress, best efforts with “View on Strava” links, and their contribution to the community.
  • Multi-sport community totals: combined running, cycling and swimming distance plus yoga and strength-training hours, which our volunteer club uses to motivate members to stay active alongside our weekly group sessions.
  • Privacy-first: read + activity:read scopes only, no maps/location/HR, members can change their choice or disconnect at any time, which deletes all their stored data.

The optional top-5 leaderboard is opt-in only. If Strava sees it as too close to the club leaderboard, we’re happy to remove it and keep just the personal stats and aggregated totals.
