Hello,

I am writing to request a manual review of our Extended Access application, which was submitted via the official web form over a month ago for our app, KineticLab (Client ID: 171371).

Our application is already live and fully functional on the iOS App Store, currently integrated with the Intervals.icu API to provide advanced performance metrics for cyclists. We have a growing user base waiting to connect their Strava accounts, but we are currently completely blocked by the default rate limits and the 10-athlete cap of the new Standard Tier.

Since our submission went through before the June 1st transition, we believe it might be stuck in the review backlog.

To ensure full compliance with the updated 2026 API Guidelines, here are the core technical details of our implementation:

Strict On-Device Processing (Apple Intelligence): While our app utilizes Apple Intelligence features, all processing is handled strictly via the on-device foundational model on the user's iPhone. Absolutely no Strava data is ever sent to external cloud AI providers or third-party servers. We do not use Strava data to train, fine-tune, or validate any machine learning or AI models.

No Data Intermediary / Downstream Storage: The app establishes a direct, secure connection between the authenticated athlete and the Strava API on the client side. Data is used solely for the active user's personal display within the app. We do not aggregate or route Strava data to other platforms (Intervals.icu and Strava integrations run completely independent of each other).

Compliant Feature Set: KineticLab does not replicate core Strava features (no public leaderboards, no club feeds, and no public segment exploration). The data belongs entirely to the athlete and is rendered exclusively for their private performance tracking.

Our developer account is linked to an active, paid Premium Strava Subscription. Since the app is already live in production, we urgently need the Extended Access approval to serve our users.

Could a member of the Strava API team please look into our pending form and help us pull it from the backlog?

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

David
