Hi there I’ve been using the Strava app
on my phone for weeks on ens every single morning for my walk. I walk on average 10 miles every morning and have no problem recording it with my iPhone Strava app on my iPhone 15 via Apple Health.
however I was suggested by my brother and sister to get an Apple Watch which I did 2 days ago it’s an Apple Iwatch SE3 series.
I’ve done the exact same walk now for 2 days (taking the phone with me at the same time) not sure if this is the correct thing to do or not ?
anyhow the 2 walks I’ve done the distance on the watch is 1.75 miles longer each way every day, it really bothers me as it says I’ve done the correct steps but the mileage is completely out 3.50 miles a day extra than I have actually done. Can someone suggest to me what I can do to alter this ? If not I may have to carry on using my phone as I don’t like to cheat and it’s really annoying Me hope you understand my quietly many thanks dean.
