All my activities are returning a value of 0 for total_photo_count even though they have photos. This was working until recently.. Any ideas?

Hey there @dylix! Thanks for calling out that total_photo_count is no longer returning a value.

With the introduction of video, we ask that you refer to the photos section of the response. This will include the total count, and also a media_type to inform whether the media is photo or video. Hope this helps and thanks again for flagging that. We'll be sure to take a look and update our docs accordingly.

Hi @Elliott11, thanks for the answer!

Is there a way then to get the photo count in the activity list endpoint? Thanks a lot!

do you mean from https://www.strava.com/api/v3/athlete/activities?per_page=100&access_token= there?

if so, they back tracked on the total_photo_count and it now works like it used to.
