In the Gear profile section where distances for your shoes/bikes are displayed, an option to have “x kilometres” or “x miles” to be displayed in its short form, i.e., “x k” or “x m” to allow the full name to be shown.

+26Unfortunately Strava doesn’t have a way to submit feature requests anymore. You could try your lack writing an email to the Strava support.
