Why can't we remove a section from the middle of an activity?

Hi Strava Team,

I wanted to ask if there are any plans to add middle-part cropping as a built-in function in the Strava app.

It would be really useful to remove a specific section from the middle of an activity, especially when there is a GPS error or spike, instead of only being able to crop the beginning or the end.
