Seeing friend follower feeds before professional athletes and celebrities

I enjoy following what the professional athletes get up to around the World and during race calendar, but I’d like to see what my close friends have been up first, in order to kudos or comment on their activities. I’d like to be able to prioritise the activity feed in a way that I can select which people’s activities to see first, or group professional athletes into a feed tab, folder or feed drop down control.

Activity Filter for People I'm Following on My Home Page

It would be wonderful to be able to filter my own home page to view the activities that interest me of the people I’m following.  I would filter to see only real bicycling activities (mountain, road, or gravel).  I really don’t care to see other’s pilates, two block walks, weigh workouts, yoga, or other insipid activities.  Some people post everything they do, and I’d really hate to have to unfollow them because they think that every activity they do in life is worthy of a post.  This is becoming increasingly perturbing as winter approaches (Norther Hemisphere) and indoor activities become the norm (God save me from the Zwift - not real bicycling - crowd!).  I believe this would be a great asset to your (our) platform, and if you were to put it to a survey, would probably score high.  Thank you in advance for making the platform a better place and not just another FaceBook of athletes.

only see what you want to see in your Activity Feed

More and more partners are integrating with Strava, this is great NEWS, however with more partner feeds you are seeing more types of rides in your activity feed, for example, Zwift, Peloton, etc., it’s so great to be able to save these types of rides to Strava, but we should have the ability to filter them out if we don't want to see them.

Add ability to customize the Y access on the Mobile Progress graph (time vs distance)

Be able to change the Y axis for the graph in on progress screen.Having it set to distance all the time is annoying when I focus on times spent training

Routes Hub

Hi, Strava is amazing, I love it and thank your for new features and constantly developing app in different ways. What I would love to have on StravaI would suggest to have Routes hub, so you can search the routes in your desired place. Every user should be able to add its extraordinary activity to this hub to share some hidden paradises for other users. Strava route planner is very nice and heatmap helps a lot, but it would be so nice to get some ideas from other people's activities in routes hub, (especially when you are travelling in new places or moved to new place for living), from where you would be able to save the route in your personal routes. Also, adding feature to add review for this route, so people would be able to see the current conditions on the trails or so on...

Mountain biking segments need to be shorter

Please bring back shorter mountain biking segments. This is ridiculous that its been taken away from us. Everyone in the mountain biking community agrees.  There’s so many trails i want to segment but now i can no longer do it.Seems like some sort of Strava cost saving which actually has higher implications that you realise. Can you please reconsider it and put it to a vote.

Advanced activity search function

Observation: It is currently difficult to find an old activity of one of the athletes we follow.Regularly, I say to myself that I'd like to redo one of the activities of one of the athletes I follow, and I have to spend long minutes visualizing all the activities.The idea is to add an advanced search function, allowing you to filter by duration, distance, sport, type of activity (training, race, commute), season, solo/group ride, etc.This would make it possible, for example, to do searches like “All Alice's bike rides over 100km, done last summer.” “All Bob's trails last spring.” "All Paul's 'race' marked runs".

How do I have my older flybys work?

Strava shows my flybys up from a few years ago until today. Yet I wish to see them from 2016 and onwards, but it seems there's an error when I want to check my flybys. What can I do about this?

wahoo uploads giving me no strava fitness points

Been riding some hard trails last few days with friends using Garmin and my Apple Watch for backup. Finding the wahoo ride gives me zero points but my Apple watch multiple points. Friends using Garmin devices also multiple points. What’s going on?

Improving the Search Functionality

When searching for activities, clubs, or users, the current search algorithm uses the OR operation for keywords. For example, if I search for "Marathon Challenge," the results include all activities that contain either "Marathon" or "Challenge," which often leads to a large number of irrelevant results. This can make it difficult to quickly find specific activities or users.I believe it would be highly beneficial to implement an AND operation for search terms. This change would allow users to narrow down their search results more effectively and find exactly what they are looking for without having to sift through numerous unrelated entries.

Leaderboard cleanup has a long way to go

Back in September the auto-flagging system was upgraded, but I still catch quite a few blatant invalid rides. For Example (and from October): Max speed of 153km/h; GPS reading completely crazy. How come this wasn`t auto-flagged?

Some old activities missing from Strava and Garmin

I recently searched for an old activity which I did whilst on holiday last year. I scrolled back through my activities but it was not there, so then I checked on Garmin connect and discovered it was not there either. Of more concern was there were no activities for my holiday on either Strava or Garmin, even though I know I recorded many walks and can remember attaching photos to them to share with friends.Further checks show I have lost activities for many other holidays, despite knowing I previously synced them and remember seeing them on my Strava dashboard. In fact it seems that for many trips all my walks have been lost although I do see a few runs still exist.I am not sure how this can be. The feed from Garmin Connect to Strava I have read is one-way, so once it has synced it would need to be independantly deleted from each feed. And I never delete activities.It was only when I recently subscribed to wandrer.earth that I noticed this. It confirmed to me I had no activity in count

Charged for a year subscription and need refund HELP

Hi, I tried Starve premium to find routes in my new city, but I came down with a stomach ulcer and internal bleeding. While I was in and out of the hospital, I forgot to cancel the subscription and was charged with an entire year subscription without any notice. (This feels extremely predatory). I am a student and cannot afford this on top of medical bills and rent & groceries. I cancelled and need to get a refund -- please help!

Virtual cycling mileage not included in Club leader board.

Hello friends , Usually After I finished virtual cycling via Rouvy app.It wil automatically upload to my Strava and it will count my virtual cycling distance to my club leader board.But after January 2024 I got a problem ,after finished activity It count distance in my personal distance not my Club leader board ,so I have to manually upload .FIT file to my strava and chose "Ride" instead of "Virtual ride" And I tried to disconnect strava from Rouvy and Re-connect. But a problem still existed.What should I do?Thanks a lot 🙂

Hello, after joining several clubs, I continued to try to join several other ones and it wouldn't let me " join" , the orange join button wouldn't turn into "joined" or when it said "request to join" it wouldn't send the request.  Anyone has an idea why?

I seem to be missing all my friends runs from a race this morning in my feed.  If I search individual name I can see it, but feed is missing days.  Have un-installed and reinstalled, and restarted phone...not helping.

Enhancing Strava Experience: Music Integration and Activity Reporting Improvements

Hello everyone, I have two cool suggestions for the app.The first one would be the ability to add music to your activity on Strava. When someone passes by, the music would play, which would be fun and could set a rhythm for others to follow during your activity.The second suggestion is about the reporting of an activity in a segment.My suggestion is to add a new reporting option, which would be "Suggest activity change." For example, I’ve noticed that many cyclists don’t know how to switch from the running mode to cycling, so they end up receiving several reports that can negatively impact their account. In this case, if the person didn’t know how to change it, the report would prompt them with the option "Was your activity a run or a ride?" This way, they could change it without any issues.

Personal Records by individual bike within profile

Implement the ability for an athlete to see their personal records for each individual bike in their profile. I have a lightweight road bike and a heavier gravel bike. I am never going to be able to beat a PR up a steep climb that I have set on my road bike when riding on my heavier gravel bike but that doesn't mean a particular effort on my gravel bike is less of an achievement than on my road bike. It would be good to see separate PRs for each bike in your profile.

Race result prediction

Strava has great volumes of activity data uploaded by athletes, and should be able to use that data to calculate / predict race results. There are some simple online calculators, but not very accurate. Strava might take into consideration the following (but not limited to):previous race resultsathlete's recent training volume / mileage, and other parameters of the training quality (speed sessions etc)for long distances (e.g a marathon), also percentage of sufficiently long runs athlete's attributes such as gender, age, weight (there's already an existing feature request to sync this), VO2max (dtto)and if a prediction turns out to be off, use that to adjust future predictions accordingly Athletes should be able to get their predictions for any distance (the feature can include the most usual distances by default but let's not limit to those, people should be able to add custom distances), but also time (e.g. prediction for a 12 mins run for the Cooper test, 1 hr run and s

Customize splits distances/times

The suggestion is to add an opportunity to customize split size/length.The use case is interval training, running, or cycling. For this type of training, 5min splits don't suit well, as the split times are not representative. It would be nice to be able to set a pattern of splits. The pattern can be based on time and/or distance. Whenever users start training, they can select a split pattern they want to apply.The simplest solution is adding a text field, describing a pattern of intervals by some documented syntax.Examples:5min;((1min;40sec)*5)2min)*3;4min - this pattern describes 5min warm up, the 3 sets separated by 2min slow tempo, each set contains 5 intervals separated by 40sec slow tempo. The result is 35 splits. Users can write in another way to avoid adjacent relaxing splits. It's up to users to decide.1km;((300m;100m)*5)400m)*3;1km - similar pattern describing distances instead of times.5min;((300m;30sec)*5)2min)*3;1km - combined pattern, both time and distances.Also, you may

Best result this month/quarter/year

Unfortunately my results are no longer improving, rather the opposite. Instead of constantly being reminded of my personal best years ago, it would be more motivated of being told on the analysis page that this was my fastest 5K logged this quarter etc...
