Hello, I am asking this specifically for a Garmin Etrex 32x device which is not supported by garmin connect and is not able to sync with phone, the only way to upload its tracks is to manually upload gpx file.From what I understand, device_name will show up in the activity page, only if it came from connected app (like garmin connect et al) Would it be possible if it showed on the activities where track was uploaded manually? gpx tracks usually contain creator xml tag for device that produced them. Or maybe there is a list of known devices from manufacturer's sync apps that are used, then again strava does not know etrex devices 🙂 I know it's old and unpopular gizmo, but it is really robust for all outdoor activities and would be nice if strava honored its device name from gpx xml. example tag from gpx <gpx xmlns="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1" xmlns:gpxx="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GpxExtensions/v3" xmlns:gpxtrkx="http://www.garmin.com

I have various Elliptical runs registered on strava that mess up my normal running PB's. How can I remove these from the running PB's without deleting the activity? I already made them private, but that did not do the trick. 

I have looked all over and still can't figure this out. I created a segment, made it public, and would like to share this with friends. How do I do this?? I'd like to send them a link but don't see how I can do this.

I'm trying to create a new route, and there's a section of road that's a simple out and back.  The creator is forcing my route into a loop, when I don't want additional roads on that section, in fact, I just want the route to follow my cursor.  It didn't behave this way previously (a few months ago).  What gives?  Please change it back.

Hi.I started riding on Strava seriously this week after getting some upgrades for my bike, and I was surprised i managed to nab some KOMs. They weren't impressive, but I was happy. Only issues - they were both from the same guy, and everytime I beat one of those KOMs I get instantly flagged a few minutes our hours later. I have three activities which have been flagged so far, and a support ticket (https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/requests/2818445). I really need assistance as this abuse of the system has been ruining my experience. Can you help prioritize the ticket or is there anything else I can do to prevent situations like these?

Somehow, since my last 2 runs, my activities is missing a lot of data. I tracked both runs on an Apple Watch Series 5 (no SIM) without carrying a phone. I turned all permissions to ON.  Any advice how to fix this?       

it’s really surprising how difficult it is to reply to somebody’s comment. The auto complete for the name does not prioritize the names of people who actually commented. Hi! So, recently I did a ride (bike), one that I do exactly quite often, every couple of weeks for the last few years. Matched rides used to pop up and show me all of these rides going all the way back to 2019. Now, suddenly, I only see matches for the last couple of months. Also, I different ride regular ride today, exact same route as usualy and matched rides isn't even showing up. Is anyone else noticing this? Could there be something wrong with my data?

A recent app update has moved the power graph away from the analysis tab.   This is a really bad change because looking at the correlation between power and heart rate in the analysis tab is at the core of data analysis.   I would urge support in moving the power graph back to the analysis tab, even if it means just simply duplicating it so it is in both the main post page and the analysis tab.  Us cyclists want to see heart rate and power graphs on the same page please. 

Currently, when creating a group challenge, we can select a specific list of activities to count toward the challenge. However, individual goals can only be related to a single activity type or to a bucket of activities that does not align.For example, I participate in a group challenge that counts both Run and Workout/HIIT/Crossfit (see below for why I put slashes between those). I would like an individual goal that also tracks those activities.I grouped Workout/HIIT/Crossfit because the current app behavior is a bit confusing. In one group challenge where I participate, the only listed qualifying activities are: "Hike, Run, Virtual Run, Walk, Workout" but my "HIIT" activities on Strava *are* counted.Basically, when I do a bootcamp style activity (Workout/HIIT/Crossfit) or a run I would like to include it. But, for example, when I go skiing or biking I do not want those to be counted. If you were to create a pre-created group, it would be something like "activities on foot."

I've been having an odd issue where, after installing any iOS update (i.e. 17.2) on my phone, the Strava Apple Watch app becomes unlinked from my phone and showing that I need to complete setup on my phone.  Uninstalling Strava from my phone (which removes from watch), rebooting, and then reinstalling Strava on my phone will fix the issue temporarily, but at next iOS update, this will reoccur.The only workaround thus far has been to uninstall Strava from my Apple Watch, reboot the watch, reinstall Strava on my watch, and then go through setup again.

Hi all retired a bike some day ago and added a new one (gravel) and defaulted on cycling and gravel biking. New activities altough defaults on the old (and retired) bike.   Any help? regards Luca

Hi! I've been trying to create a route through a paved greenway trail and whenever I try to draw my route, Strava doesn't recognize it as a valid way - even though the global heat map is dark blue and when I ran on it the other day Strava recognized it as a trail. I'm trying to create a long run because it connects to a trail system and it won't let me, I can't even figure out how much mileage it would add! Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

This always bugs me. I am offered a free trial but to be allowed to try the free offering, I need to put in bank details. I know why this is done, so that after the trial period runs out then a charge is made. I think it would be much better and friendlier of Strava to just let individuals try out the free trial without the need for bank / card details. 

Hi,I want to extract a list of all the activities that the club members have done in the last month. Is there any way to do this? When I check "recent activities" I only see the activities of the last 5 days.If I look in my own feed at everyone I follow, I see since the 18th of October, but we started on the 10th. There are 70 members and going through all 70 members and doing it manually will take a long time..

Hi everybody,I think there's a mistake with "snowboard" activities. If you record an activity of this type, the only segments in the report page are climbs. If you want to see slopes' times (so, time for descents) you have to change your activity in "alpine skiing" (or similar name, in italian is "Sci alpino").   

Strava, segments taken within 1-minute of each other are labelled incorrectly with the same label number instead of being unique. I did this segment below 10 times, and instead of being numbered 1 to 10 they are numbered 1,1,3,4,5,6,6,8,9,10 which makes little sense: 

My segment creation screen only displays for a fraction of a second making it impossible to click “next”. Why ? im a paying subscriber and this happens on both my laptop and desktop . thanks in advance

Was not having any issues with syncing from my watch until 6 days ago...Now nothing syncs and when I try to resync I get errors 99, 42, or 7....I have restarted my phone and watch as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the app on both.....Looks like there have been issues in the past like this....Help.....I already lost a week of stuff and had to manually add them but as a premium member I would not think that this should be the norm..... 

Just wondering if this is a known bug ...   (hi, I'm a subscriber, btw, have been for many years. hello)So, there are (running) segments I complete on a very regular basis. For some of these segments, I get segment efforts recorded on my activity, but when I view the leaderboards for the segment, I'm not there at all - in fact the leaderboard says at the bottom (on mobile) "Tackle this segment to compete for the crown" as if I've never completed it at all.Many segments I complete, even on the same activity are just fine, my effort is recorded, and I'm on the leaderboard (somewhere near the bottom usually).Here's an example ... an activity from today, where I got a PR on a segment, but when I look at the leaderboard, I'm not there. Hi all!  I have been setting goals and tracking against them for some time.  I just started MTB.  I did a ride last and this week and the distance and elevation (my two goals) did not show these rides.  I went back and see that when you set a goal you need to choose - Ride, MTB, etc.  There is a feature to select All Sports which would have included both.  The Question is: now that I have a weekly goal that we originally set to Ride, how to I change that to add other activities such as MTB?  Thanks!

I hope somebody sees this and can help me. I am a college student, and was using the app to help track my half-marathon progress. Unfortunately, I became injured early when I had the free trial and am now not able to use this app after healing from several surgeries. I forgot about my free trial and was charged a hefty amount today, a price that I can not afford with my medical bills, grocery, and school tuition. I canceled my subscription immediately, but am hoping for a refund. I emailed and messaged, but am hoping I can get a soon reply before it gets too late. PLEASE HELP! Thank you so so so much.
