Hi! This is happening on my Android Phone. No new Android updates since yesterday and I haven't I have changed anything on the app since yesterday. This morning the home activity feed history on the app has shortened drastically. I can only view back about a day or so in thr feed. I drop in every now and then to give cudos to friends, now I'm finding I'm missing things. I can go to my personal feed and see all my activities, but nothing on the main feed. Please help. 

I wanted to add a default sport to an existing bike. However, the save button was greyed out, making it impossible to save the changes. The UI didn't display any reason for why saving was not possible. After testing a bit, it turned out it was because the weight was invalid (1 kg) (When I first created the bike, 1 kg was accepted). When you try to save, it should for example jump to the invalid weight field and clearly say why its not valid.

My run activity is not showing on my iPhone but my walking activity and golf activity is??? How can I solve this? Thanks 

Hi, I recently changed to a Giant Dash M200 GPS unit for my Embt, and all was well for the first ride. Data uploaded to the Stages cycling app and came across to Strava. However, subsequent rides have produced incorrect data uploads to Strava. All good on the M200 and in the Stages app, but upload to Strava from Stages and my data is skewed beyond belief. Distance and map are OK, but speeds and time are out of this world, e.g. max speed today was 443Km/hr and my 40km ride only took 5 minutes! I know I'm on an Embt but that's crazy. Anybody experiencing the same thing or got any ideas on how to correct this?

Is there any way Strava can prevent double posting.  People have so many options for updates to their rides.  Phones, watches, GPS devices.    People use two or more on one ride and get double or triple the correct distance.  Also is unfair for Local Legend segments. 

I see multiple posts about the same but no fix. In strava you click samsung, it tells you how to add strava in samsung app which works but you never see the app in apps section settings in strava  

i tried it by creating a Webhook using a python script but it was unable to verify the callback url for the webhook.. I've gotten the webhook working through Zapier for the purpose of the app, but I'm worried that when I apply to have the app recognised by strava so more people can join it that they wont accept it if it doesn't use a coded in webhook.. 

Hello everyone!I have a question regarding when a user authorizes an application linked to strava to get his data and based on that, you get the id of the athlete of that user, his accesstoken and refresh token.My question is, when a user accepts the terms of the application he is joining, if he previously linked to another application, the tokens of that previous application will have expired, right? Because when it is linked to the new application it generates both new access token and refresh.Is there no way to persist minimizing the same refresh?Or any way to access the information of a user without the tokens of that same user?Perhaps using the tokens listed in the API config?The documentation always talks about the authenticated user, but in cases where a user is linked to several applications, it is difficult to always have the tokens due to the rotation that is generated when linking to a new application. 

I'm leveraging Strava for displaying my user data, including the profile photo.The profile photo url that's returned is unique to the photo, so it's not updating the photo it returns automatically.What I figured, then, was that I could just listen to inbound events from the Webhooks and update the Photo URL reference on subscribed users, but I don't seem to be getting any events for user profile updates. Am I missing something? If not, it would be GREAT to have a permanent, static profile url that I just continue to reference.

When I am on my phone (android) I would like to change the types of activities it uses. For example it shows walking as well as cycling, which is annoying, because I am on a bike and as a result sometimes end up in places that are only for walking. Can I change this in the mobile app, like I can on the website? I can do it for my personal heatmaps, but not for the global one...

Today I havent been able to access Strava on my Iphone 12.  Get the message "Something went went wrong - try again"  I deleted the app and reionstaled but no difference.  Anyone else having this issue? 

Has anyone else noticed that that the rate limit headers sent with all API responses changed after the outage yesterday? Previously the headers were CamelCase (e.g. X-RateLimit-Limit) and now they are all lowercase (e.g. x-ratelimit-limit).Did I miss an announcement or is this just a surprise change? And I guess if you're reading this, heads up that the headers appear to have changed so if you have any rate limiting logic be sure to update it.

Hello!I don´t know why my Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is not showing steps in my hiking sessions. All the other data are ok, map, heart rate, kms, elevation, etc. even when I wal in a flat terrain it doesn´t show any steps. Do you know why? Best regards

We have reached the 999 Athlete limit and have tried contacting support, resubmitting the app for verification, and we have not heard back on how to increase these limits.Is there a separate contact form or method to get this number increased?

 Hey everyone, I've been using strava for a while and love the system. However for a while I've noticed top x% on the leaderboard.Is this just a heading saying that if you rank high enough this is where the leader board shows the number and who's on top, or is this something else?I've googled it in many ways to find out what this means but can't seem to find anything on it. Does anyone know what top x% means?Thanks

I've created a group challenge, but some people are unable to join without signing up for a free trial. The challenge currently has 9 members, so the participant limit isn’t the issue, and some of the new members haven't used up their 2 free group challenge slots.Could someone help explain why this is happening and how I can resolve it?

I often ride at bike parks where there might be 5 or 6 trails all starting at the same point and ending at the same point but they are distinct trails and yet Strava cannot determine which one I was on. On the map it shows the trails (i.e. Strava maps is aware that there are multiple trails in this location and even shows the names of the trails) and my GPS track lines up almost perfectly with the trail and yet Strava still thinks I did the trail beside it which does not line up with my GPS track at all, except for the start and end points. Why does Strava only look at the start and end points of a trail instead of matching the mid points as well?The trail network that I am talking about is called Sticky Forest in Wanaka, New Zealand. There are lots of trails that all start in similar locations and then all end in the same spot. The trails are all on Strava maps and when I ride them, my tracks line up with the trails on the maps, plus or minus a metre or two here and there, but they do

Hello, after check API documentation I have not been able to find how to call go get the leader segments per one athlete. My question is:We need use the parameter: "id" (The identifier of the athlete)We need to get at least the following details per each leader segment:"name" (name of leader segment)"kom_rank" (kom rank of leader segment)"start_date" (date of leader segment) In short, we need to get this data that is shown on website by making an api call:https://www.strava.com/athletes/45686340/segments/leader Thanks for your helping, I will wait for your replies!!Regards,

Hello.  I have been using Strava for over two years already and I find it to be a great community and tool to meet athletes and to improve sport performance. I do have one comment though. it seems like when you are going through the activities and you are trying to get kudos, the activity distance and metrics are on top of the picture, but scrolling down to give kudos actually makes it difficult to see the metrics. I believe it could be better if Kudos and metrics are on the same line below the activity picture or map. It would help realize the progress and give kudos for actual progress. for instance: when I scroll on my phone to give kudos I miss the info of the activity.  I put myself as an example. Is there a way to sync a run tracked via the Android Strava app so it shows up in Garmin Connect?  I've only found a way to sync activities from Garmin Connect to Strava.

Hello,I use a subscription to webhook on my webapp and it works very fine, but i have a question about this use case:- a user in my app decides to deauthorize Strava.- i do some stuff on its account (unset stored data for this user like athlete id, token, refresh token, expiration timestamp...)- in the same time i post to Strava API POST https://www.strava.com/oauth/deauthorizewith required data for this user.At this step all is working fine. The deauthorization for this user is done.But, few seconds later i also receive strava webhook event on my callback subscription url to inform me about the deautorization!My understanding of webhook is Strava is posting events to my app when an event for an account registered to my app is happening not in my app but in Strava.So my question is why Strava triggers this event when the deauthorization is starting from my app.Thanks a lot for your reply.Joel (from France ;))

But when I use the API to log in with a second account, the following error appears:Error 403: Limit of connected athletes exceeded.This app has exceeded the limit of connected athletes. If you are a developer of this application, please contact Strava developer support for how to request a quota increase. What are the conditions for quota, pricing, etc? Please note that I'm not using the developer account at the moment, so I'd like to know what is the procedure so I can apply with my developer account. Can you please help me with this? I have an app that is fairly integrated with Strava. I'd love to be able to have users create accounts via Strava directly, but it seems like the API doesn't expose email at all. This makes sense from a security standpoint, but it also makes the auth flow a lot more frictiony.What's the best user experience you've seen on this front?

I have had an active Strava subscription for years. A few days ago, I changed my password. Now when I log in (using the s  as me email address), it shows me as being on a 30-day free trial, does not have my followers/following, etc. I can’t figure out how to get into my actual account. I’ve tried resetting the password again, deleting then re-downloading the mobile app, using the Strava website instead of the app, and nothing works. How can I regain access to my account? Thank you.
