I'm developing a web app to fetch athletes activities in daily basic ( eg cycling) using API. While fetching API im not able to fetch date/time of activity and Athlete ID. Even I contacted strava help but they dint helped and said to refer community forum. Do someone have answer or reference to this issue. ( I hope strava limits are to ensure security) . Is there any way? 

In https://developers.strava.com/docs/reference/ there are examples in C# using the com.strava.api.v3.api libraries, but where download the libraries from?I tried downloading from https://github.com/tdao7/.Net-Strava-API and some api calls work, but it is different from the examples in the documentation and other api calls don't work.

We want to scale some results within different types of activities and create ranking who made the longest distance.So I need to store in my private database  three information from Strava: date, distance, athlete name.Is it possible to store such information in private database? Hey,During the Auth process, we are requesting (amongst others) the scope activity:write. Is there a way to determine if the user deselected (or indeed kept selected) this permission during the Auth Process? Either in the response back from in the auth process, or, at a later date with a separate API request? At present, the only way I can see how to determine it is to try to write and catch the Unauthorised Error (a pretty ugly way to do it!). Thanks

Hi there 👋As a developer an a Strava user, it will be very helpful to add an optional parameter to the getLoggedInAthleteActivities request so it only returns activities matching a specific type.For example, if an app only use Strava API for bike stats, it could only get the activities matching the type "Bike".Thanks for your attention! 😁

I have a new user connected to my app two days ago. Out of the sudden I am reciving batches and batches of webhook events for activities updates. The updates are: {"visibility":"everyone"}Activities to be updated are from 2014, 2015, 2016 and so on. I have asked the user how she did it. And she says she have changed the account visibility about 2 weeks ago.So my question is are those events are still coming from that change 2 weeks ago (before connecting to my app) or there is some other logic behind such webhooks behavior?

I've noticed that activities returned by the Get Activities endpoint have short laps removed. This also appears when viewing the activity on Strava itself, suggesting Strava may be applying some sort of processing.For context, I keep autolap (1mi) on my watch when running on a track. If autolap beeps before I cross the line, I hit the lap button again as I cross the line, then add the two times for the full mile time. Hello!Since a while ago, as indicated from support, Strava allows to show the steps taken in walking or hiking activities https://support.strava.com/hc/es-es/articles/13772272971533-Pasos-en-Strava.This is limited only to some devices, but it could be extended if it would be allowed to obtain the steps data from the TCX file generated by many devices.As you can see in this image https://i.imgur.com/WuLPip9.png, the steps data are contained in the <Steps> tag, inside the Extensions.LX and <Lap> structure.As Strava already displays the calorie data, it will not be too complicated to access the step data in the TCX file to display it.If this is supported, it would extend the compatibility of the step count with more devices.

I'm trying to retrieve the waypoints of a route to generate directions but they're always returning empty. I tried both {athlete}/routes and routes/{route_id}. Is anyone else experiencing this?

When reading activity data, we can't get the step count of an activity. Even when the step count is visible in the Strava app, when retrieving the detailed activity data, there is no step count reference. Will this be added soon? Users ask us for this feature.

Hi there. I have a medium sized app and am approaching the limit for the number of connected athletes.
