Hi,For the past few rides I have noticed that Strava updates my speed every ~10s but in between these updates the speed displays 0. Once the updated speed is shown for a few seconds it goes back to 0 and this cycle continues for the full duration of the ride. A similar issue with distance as well - it gets updated only when the live speed is shown and otherwise remains constant. I have attached some screenshots.From picture 2 to 3 the speed goes from 18.1 to 0. From picture 3 to 4 the speed is displayed as 0 and the distance remains constant at 0.92. In picture 5 the speed is updated to 18.5 and distance to 1.04.Please help out regarding this issue.Thanks!

Hello, I had an incident where I guess I had forgotten to turn off the automatic renewal on a free trial for a membership, and I was charged the full 80$ for the year. In the terms for the membership, it says there is a 14 day period where the membership could be refunded. Just curious, how would I go about getting a refund? I am on an iPhone. 

When I am in the USA, Strava will show City & State on US-based activities, but when I’m outside the USA it will only show City & Country of a US-based activity.  Many municipality names exist in multiple states.  For example, living in New England, I see activities from “Hopkinton, RI’, “Hopkinton, MA”, and “Hopkinton, NH”, but when traveling outside the country, those activities simply show up as “Hopkinton, USA”, which really is not helpful at all.   When overseas, I would like to see, for example “Hopkinton, RI, USA”.I noticed the same issue exists in Canada, where I see the province name only when I’m in Canada, and when I was in Ireland, I could see the county names only until I left the country.  Whatever the political subdivisions used in a country (e.g., state, province, county), it would be real helpful to see these on activities without having to be physically in that country at that time.

Yesterday, I created 2-3 new segments. Suddenly, I can't create any more. I keep getting an error saying something went wrong and to try again later. Today, the same error still appears. It doesn't matter which workout

Hello,I did a run activity using strava on past 14/o4/2025. I did this activity with my smartwatch (Samsung Galaxy Watch 7) that it had a gps problem. Meanwhile, the gps is ok.Now, I want correct the date of my past activity. I tried with following steps:I exported the activity to a .gpx file. I changed all wrong dates in file to the new date; I deleted the old register on strava; I inserted the new file with new date. After that, the date that is presented is the wrong date. Hi , I got a KOM on a segment , my question however is that on the same road there is another segment which is shorter and is in the same part of the road and my position on that KOM attempt never changed. How can I get a KOM on 1 and nothing for the other ??

I have received an export of my archived data, and trying to identify my activities based on run type so Race, Workout etc. I can't seem to be able to find this field in activities.csv file.Am I looking in the right place? Is it even available within the extract.

Liebes Strava Team was ist nur los jedes mal hab ich Probleme mit den GPX Dateien auf die Garmin Geräte hochzuladen. Strava Route selber planen und erstellen anschliessend auf Garmin Connet hochladen. Umbekanne Fehler Meldung na gut ich nehme die GPX Datei welche ich bei Strava runtergeladen habe lade diese bei Komoot hoch, lade diese anschliessend bei Komoot runter und füge sie bei Garmin Connet ein siehe da es funktioniert. wieso kriegt ihr das nicht auf die reihe? mittlerweile ein grösserer Fan von Komoot als von Strava.

Due to the fact that my Strava account won't automatically update from my Fitbit, I have go through the onerous process of uploading .tcx files on my laptop. To compound my frustration, it seems to be pretty random when Strava sends me the necessary 6 digit code which is required to log into my account. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there an alternative way of logging into Strava?

It would be nice to go back to the old update where we could see all the segments on our map, I must not be the only one to regret that

Hi, I’m experiencing a strange issue when using Strava’s route builder. The route lines don’t follow the roads properly — instead, they appear jagged and cut across terrain or buildings, without snapping cleanly to the streets or paths. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference. It looks like the route builder isn’t smoothing or aligning the line with actual roads, making the route look inaccurate and hard to trust. This isn’t related to GPS data, as it happens while manually drawing the route in the map tool. For context, I’m using the latest version of iOS and the Strava app on an iPhone 16 Pro. Has anyone else seen this? Is this a known bug or is there a fix/workaround? Thanks in advance!

Not sure if its me, user error, but I dont like the new Route Builder. I loved the old version dragging the line to re-route was so easy, now I am finding when using Gravel paths etc it doesnt easily allow me to change the route to where I want it to go ? it keeps taking me a way I dont want to go, I'm finding im having to be in constant manual mode in large sections of off road paths, they are well ridden as I can see from heat map......Maybe its just Me but I'd love the old version back. I dont want to have to use RWGPS or Koomoot but their routing is  so much straight forward.....is anyone else having annoying issues with the new version ??

The challenge is not registered all my time.

When travelling, it takes hours to plan routes. What if there was a map that show only race routes, both pro and amateur level? Criterias such as year, mtb, road, enduro, dh i.e. would make it a bit easier to choose where to ride (or not).

I submitted multiple Strava Refund Request and it is solved but I haven’t get my money back. Can someone help me? I really need it for my hospital bills.
