I used to love Strava media upload flow. Crystal clear, not questions. I loved the fact that it was possible to preview a picture just by having a prolonged press on it.What was not my surprise today when I tried the updated media upload flow… It felt like an effort to simply upload a pic!It seriously makes me wonder if Strava is testing any of their latest features. The past weeks have been an absolute nightmare. I’m a paying subscriber and I’m seriously considering cancelling my subscription. It feels like everything I liked in the app is being torn into pieces.

Is anyone having problems with swim data transfer, from watch to Strava? I have a Suunto vertical and the swim data has started posting massively inflated times, thousands of hours per swim. This hasn't previously been an issue. 

I use the Huawei Health app and sync it using both the Huawei Health and Health Sync apps. The sync is reported as successful, but no activities appear in the Strava app. Please check and help me.

When I view an activity - either mine or a followers - I can see a map displayed with the route. But if I click on the map in order to look at details, the map disappears. I am just left with a trace of the route, on a white background. I'm using the Strava app on an Android phone - Samsung S18.This has been happening for approx 1 week. I have tried deleting and reinstalling app but problem persists. Any help please?

I just finished a race, and was tracking my progress both in Strava (via my phone) and Apple Watch. Upon finishing the workout, the one in Strava uploaded automatically and I only added the one from Apple Watch an hour later. I decided to keep the Apple Watch version as it included my heart rate data, so I deleted the Strava version. However, all of my PR and segment achievements were assigned to the Strava version!I’ve used the “Refresh Activity Achievements” tool in the activity menu, but to no effect. My PR is still listed as a second-best effort. I was able to successfully update the All-Time PR section, but not in the individual activity. Any ideas?

The directional arrow of the Strava map while riding a bicycle trying to follow a route I created is off by at least 90 degrees. Makes trying to follow a route nearly impossible. You need to keep using your fingers to “twist” the map to the correct direction of travel. It’s my understanding that the blue directional arrow should alway point in the direction of travel(top of phone). It used to work several versions ago. Yes I am using the latest firmware and iOS . It is not my bike or phone as it is working with other apps. See attached photo. I am gearing up for another year of riding but if the map directions don’t work I will need to cancel Strava and use another way finding app. Any suggestions?

I have always been able to post emojis on my free Strava account activities. However, the option to do so has disappeared. Is it possible to restore this?

The time of workouts uploaded from the Dafit app is doubled in Strava. The distance is accurate. What could be causing this?

Hello, in the Strava app on Android I am trying to unsubscribe from a user I was previously subscribed to and I can't. I click "Unsubscribe" and news about this user comes again. I don't want to hide the news about the user, I just want to unsubscribe.

Hi I brought a new phone, went to sign into my normal account, but it seems like I’ve forgot the email and password. And also don’t have access to the email I created the account with.  i have the Strava ID that’s all I seem to have. Also if I view my account from another strava account it has removed my profile picture.  I have an active Strava plus’s subscription on this account so really want to use it  I put a request in via Strava support but the ticket just gets closed as soon as I send it.  please help James

Hi there, I have 2 Strava profiles. The first profile I created gave me full access & I pay the subscription fee.  I then created a second profile as I couldn’t access my first one (forgotten password) which has all my activities and up to date info.   How do I combine the two profiles without losing all my activities logged,  so that I get full use/access to the account which I’m paying for?

Il s’agit d’une adresse fictive créé par Apple lors de la connexion. de se fait l’application. Decathlon ne synchronise pas mes activités, car ce n’est pas le même mail.. Je n’arrive pas à modifier mon mail sur mon compte car un peu ma connexion il s’agit d’une connexion avec Face ID.. Pouvez-vous mon adresse mail sur mon compte Strava? Par avance merci

I can get TCX for routes but can’t find a way to get the file for activities.I can get it easily using this way : https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216918437-Exporting-your-Data-and-Bulk-Export#h_01GDP2C5E3278KM8MPK5X49ED3 “This is a little-known trick, however, it's simple to use.  Simply add "/export_tcx" - without quotes - to the end of your activity page URL. For example, if your activity page is www.strava.com/activities/2865391236 - just add the text to give you  www.strava.com/activities/2865391236/export_tcx and hit enter. This will download a TCX version of your file to the location specified by your browser's preferences” But no luck with API.Can anyone help?Thanks!

Our bicycle club has authored a command line tool that connects to the Strava API to download an athletes ride data so we can establish metrics for ride difficulty in our region. However we just realized it won’t work because the number of athletes allowed to connect is only 1. To increase the limit we have to submit an application review form. However we just noticed the Strava API Agreement demands the app have some sort of GUI (Graphical User Interface) so that logos can be displayed. But a command line tool can’t display logos. Does that mean command line tools are prohibited from using the API? How do we get around this problem? 

I’m exporting my Strava activities to a CSV with a Python script and for some reason, everything shows up perfectly except for the calories burnt. My weight is entered on Strava and I have tried a few different scripts but to no avail. Calories just don’t show up on my CSV no matter how I write, even though they do appear on my profile. Has anyone else encountered this? I looked up online but couldn't find anything, I don’t know if it’s a Strava issue or I just can’t seem to find the right script to write. Thanks!

This past saturday, I ran my first ultra, a 32 mile run that was 10 3.2 mile laps around Green Lake in Seattle.The problem is, my run got tracked as being 45 miles.I tried using the in-app tool to fix the distance, but that actually made the run longer. It was pretty consistent along the entire run, taking 2 minutes off my min/k pace.I did manage to fix it using gpx-dot-studio but now when I try to upload it, I get a message that it’s a duplicate of the run.I’m hesitant to delete the existing run without knowing how the import will work.Aside from just creating a temp account to import, is there a way to get it to import before I delete the original, albeit incorrect, run?

Hello all. I can see the activity description, small map and any media media uploaded on everyone’s activity on my feed screen. But when I press the small map to get to the detail screen I see all details of the activity but cannot see the map.  All I see is the line of the route with no underlying map.  There’s just a blank white screen under the route.  This is true for everyone’s activities and not just my own so I don’t think it’s a map visibility issue on my end. I’ve tried logging out and logging back in, rebooting the phone, clearing the cache and data and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app but I stiil have this problem.  The website works perfectly nomally.The phone is a Oneplus 10T 5G running Android 14. Could it be a dependency that the app has on some component of the OS on the phone?  I’ve disabled a number of Google apps, like Gmail, Google Assistant, Android Auto and a few others.    I was wondering why I stopped receiving comments from Athlete Intelligence, as I found them very interesting.  Turns out I didn’t realize that this is because I recently bought a bicycle trainer and started logging my activities on Strava as “Virtual Rides” as opposed to regular bike rides which I do when there aren’t many feet of snow on the ground up here.   Any timeframe for adding the feature to Virtual rides like it is available now on just regular rides?  Seems to me there is no difference between the 2 types of activities so why not ?
