When I try to create a new route on my PC, once I click ‘Create Route’, all I can see is the Heat Map, there is no underlying map below it. i.e. if I de-select the Heat Map the work area to create a route is blank. I don’t have this problem with my phone using the APP.

If I bring up an existing saved route, the underlying map is visible, however if I click ‘edit’ I can see the route that has been created on top of the heat map but no underlying map.

I am using Windows 11 and normally use Google Chrome but have also tried Microsoft Edge

I see others appear to be having recent problems with saving routes but I can’t can’t get that far.

Any thoughts on why I have this issue would be greatly appreciated

You could check browser add-ons, VPNs or similar software that can block IPs for the Strava maps.

Hi Jan, Thankyou for your reply, I had checked that my VPN was disabled, unfortunately I’m not sure how I would go about checking browser add-ons. However, out of desperation for a solution, I down loaded Firefox and strangely didn’t have a problem and could see the underlying map, so I am sorted for now, but still not sure what changed to prevent the other two browser’s working. They had worked without issue for several years, although I’m not building routes frequently so it could have changed at anytime over the last 12 months.
