Localization Bug: Mix of Polish and Portuguese in email notifications

Hello,

I'm reporting a recurring localization bug in the kudos email notifications. My account language is set to Polish, and most of the email content is displayed correctly.

However, the specific line that summarizes who gave the kudos is always in Portuguese (e.g., "Eduardo Magota e 9 outros deram-lhe kudos por..."). This bug appears every time more than one person gives kudos to an activity.

Could you please pass this along to the technical team? I will post a screenshot showing the issue in a reply to this thread.

Hi @Patryk Łachan, this is a community site, you can report bugs with https://support.strava.com/hc/requests/new only. Note: You must be logged in to see the form.

@Jan_Mantau

Thanks for the link. I went to the support form, but I must point out that there is absolutely NO category for "Bug Report" or "Localization/Translation Issues" in the dropdown menu.

I had to guess and submit it under "Profile page and account settings" (since my profile language is set to Polish), but none of the 14 available categories actually fit an email translation error.

  1. Subscriptions & Billing

  2. Login and Account Access

  3. Strava Mobile App - recording, syncing and data problems

  4. Compatible GPS Devices - Syncing and Data Problems

  5. Activity achievements, segments and run best efforts

  6. Profile page and account settings

  7. Social features - clubs, social networks, activity sharing

  8. Training features, searching or exploring

  9. Business and marketing inquiries

  10. Report or flag data

  11. Intellectual Property Complaint / Club Ownership Transfers

  12. Trust & Safety Contact Form

  13. Appeals

  14. Feature Requests

I've submitted the ticket with the screenshot, but honestly, since I already provided the exact bug description here, wouldn't it be much more efficient for the community team to just ping the developers internally when a clear bug is reported?

Hi @Patryk Łachan, there is no community team or any other form of Strava support here, this site is for Strava users only.

Thanks for clarifying, @Jan_Mantau. I assumed that a 'Community Hub' hosted by Strava would have at least some level of official presence to monitor bug reports. I've already submitted a formal ticket. Happy riding!
