Strava won't run on my phone

I have a Motorola G24 phone, & it has never run Strava reliably. Unless I keep the screen activated, the GPS data stops, resulting in straight lines on the final log.

I have disabled every battery saver / background activity restriction function I can find.

It appears to me that Strava is running but the GPS stops. As the GPS isn't an app, I can't find any options that might prevent it from running.

Looking like I'll just have to buy another new phone...

Did you set the Strava app's permission for using GPS to "Allow all the time." in the settings?

The highest level of access is "Allow only while using app".

I have just found some well hidden restrictions that I've also turned off so I'll try it out this afternoon & see if that's made a difference. Android has also done a major update too...
