Same problem here, reported it last night and is a known issue with no workarounds. Support suggested the app, but that just won’t do, my route planning is way too involved to do on a the app.

Same issue the past couple of days. Still this morning. @strava I’m not paying to be a beta-tester here -- fix the issue.

Same issue here, also after update Macbook, browsers etc. no results.

In Safari and Chrome browser, both no possibility to save the route.

Same here too, no saving or editing existing routes possible, this issue persists for the last two days

Big trip planned, need to create and share routes with my group but can’t get anything done. As a paying subscriber I would expect proactive comms from you Strava on a major service failure like this. Please consider how you handle your customers when you aren't delivering what they are paying you for.

I am having the same issue, super annoying. My route is about 655km in Germany and it won’t save. I’m deleting waypoints from the end to shorten and still happening! I am also a paying subscriber -- no update from Strava??

Same issue. I don’t get it. First the routing become worse with me having to use manual a lot more than before, now you can’t even save anything :(

Two days without being able to save a route (in Europe) in the web ui longer than 69 km. Beyond frustrating. The Strava route builder (on web) is the only reason I’m a paid subscriber. I’m now having to create routes using a competitor…

Same thing happened here, both last night and today. I’m annoyed I’m paying for this app that won’t even let me save a route.

So what I have found is it eventually it does save. If I do something else for a while and keep retrying, it will save. You may have to try a bunch of times, but don’t give up. I am building my routes for the TCR race, so what I did is start to rebuild in RWGPS (just in case), but kept trying to save the Strava route – and eventually it always saves. Major pain in the butt tho!

It seems to be a bit hit and miss, with no real pattern. Removing a few waypoints sometimes “solves” it, but that is not how a route building paid service should work. I’ve always praised Strava’s route builder but now it is taking a long time to solve this problem...

Stil not able to save routes!

I have just brute-forced it like fuzz.royale suggested and managed to save the route. 

I thought the training is for grit and persistence, not the app where I plan and record the training.
