Combine Two Bike Rides?

I started a ride this morning with Strava running on my Apple watch. (Learning the ins & outs of a Garmin Edge 840 leaves me wanting a bigger screen.) So I stopped my ride at ~ 10 miles, then shut the Edge down, started a ride on Strava in the app on my iPhone.

So I have two rides now: first’s 10.21 miles in 46 minutes, second’s 7.05 miles in 38 minutes.

Is there some way in the Dashboard to combine these two into one ‘event’ record?

Or can I use my Edge to run Strava my next time out?

There is not a way to do it within Strava, but there are 3rd part apps that can do it.  Here is a link that Strava put out explaining a way to do it:  Merge or Combine Activities – Strava Support
