I’ve been running with my Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra for years with 474 runs so far and I’ve always seen Strava show a distance very close to, or slightly longer than, what Samsung Health records.
Examples before the One UI Watch 8 update:
- July 21: Samsung 8.03 km → Strava 8.08 km
- July 27: Samsung 8.00 km → Strava 8.03 km
- July 31: Samsung 5.01 km → Strava 5.04 km
After the One UI Watch 8 update:
- Aug 8: Samsung 7.01 km → Strava 6.82 km
- Aug 12: Samsung 7.03 km → Strava 6.89 km
- Aug 15: Samsung 7.11 km → Strava 6.91 km
This is a consistent drop per run compared to Samsung Health, which never happened before the update.
Has anyone else noticed this issue since the One UI Watch 8 update? Is the issue on Strava or Samsung side ?
