I recently did a 10.4km run in 57 minutes tracked by MiFitness, but Strava recorded it as 8.5km, and if I used the Correct distance feature my elapsed time dropped to 22 minutes meaning my speed was completely wrong! I drop out of mobile phone reception a couple of times on my run, but Strava has recorded the correct route and Google Maps agrees with the distance recorded by MiFitness so I don’t know what could cause this. A small discrepancy wouldn’t be an issue, but this makes it useless!

Ciao @Sam_S. Can you use the map feature on Strava? Could you try to create the route on the app in order to see the distance on the planner?

You need to be sure that your activity has been correctly recorded considering the drop out of reception (noted for google maps)

You can find below more info on how Strava handle distance datas.

Thanks @Vincenzo I’ve tried using this and it agrees with Google Maps and MiFitness. Even the route map is shown accurately, it’s just that somehow the distance is wrong. It’s a weird one.
