I have the 51mm version of the Fenix 8 Solar Sapphire and have noticed an odd discrepancy in the device naming convention. Every activity I have seen from someone with the 47mm version of the F8 Solar Sapphire has their device type listed as “Garmin fenix 8 Solar Sapphire” while those with the 51mm of the same watch has their device type listed as “Garmin fenix 8 Solar” without the Sapphire showing in the name (despite it being a sapphire watch face.) Is there a reason for this discrepancy when they are otherwise the same watch?
